Our Stamford Studio is located in a 6,500-square-foot space directly across from Fairway Market, in the Harbor Point area of Stamford. Designed by New York-​based architecture group Sayigh + Duman, DWR Stamford inhabits Building 35A of the historic Yale & Towne Manufacturing Company complex, which was built in 1913 for the world’s foremost manufacturer of locks and hoists.

All DWR locations carry great quality midcentury products but ultimately it is the level of customer service that sets certain stores apart from the rest. I have bought quite a few high end pieces from DWR over the past few years and I cannot say enough good things about Tess OBrien who is now at the Stamford DWR location. Tess is a consummate professional and SHE is the reason I keep coming back to DWR for my furniture.

First of all, the showroom is huge and ever changing, but that’s not why I’m in love… The staff at this location are amazing! In particular, my working relationship with Stephen developed into a wonderful friendship. He always listens to my design ideas and makes suggestions that are so creative! He was tremendously helpful with the furnishing of my new home and spent so much time with me making sure I achieved the right look for each space. Perfect shopping atmosphere for timeless classics. I’ll never go anywhere else for high design!

A «Lauren» whom works for DWR send me a message where she lied to me stating that I wouldn’t be receiving any more of their catalogs. That was six months ago. I have since received THREE MORE. These people are OFFENSIVE.

Not only is DWR a great store with outstanding products, the customer service is superb. Several years ago I purchased some metal dining chairs. They were so versatile and so comfortable that I ordered four more last year. After a year of use the newer ones developed some discoloration. When I called DWR last week and asked how to remove the stain on the metal, the customer service rep offered to replace them at no cost. I was amazed. Talk about standing behind your product! I’d like to broadcast far and wide what a great company DWR is.

Great Store, Great service. They have all the modern classics available to see and sit on.
I’ve always wanted a Herman Miller Eames Lounge chair. They helped me pick one out in a beautiful leather. It was delivered to my home in a week. Next I’ll be getting some lighting.
