Admittedly, I am a bit of a book nerve. And, I am not sure why it took me so long to realize that I could join the library within walking distance and stop the excessive Amazon spending to fill my bookshelf.
First, the people who work here are very friendly and helpful. It’s a small library, but it’s connected to the main Stamford branch so I’ve had a lot of success requesting books that are in the overall circulation and having them delivered for pick up at this location.
They also have an easy to use online system — to make book requests, process renewals, and view what’s checked out to you.
I just wish they were open more days of the week, or had one later night.
