Fox Nails Day Spa

Love this place! The girls are so friendly and really take their time with you. I could spend all day there. They also have an amazing array of opi colors. Everything they use is organic a yummy smelling!

Let me start by saying that the people who work there, owner included, are incredibly nice. However, their service is severely lacking, which is a shame.
My friend and I got a deal from Groupon, which is why we went there in the first place. They have good products and they seemed legitimate. However, when we got there we were shocked that this was not a typical spa. It is in what appears to be a converted house (interesting atmosphere).
It look the «technicians» more than 35 minutes just to get everything set up (note: we were the ONLY ones there). Getting set up included filling the red plastic buckets with pitchers of water for our pedicures. We were offered water or wine and a «snack», we both chose water and our snacks never came.
The technicians were not exactly experts. They were very nice and definitely tried to make us comfortable and relaxed but had a hard time knowing which products to use at the appropriate times. They spent more time fixing mistakes with the polish than they did on the massages. Not sure what the oil was that they used on my legs, but they itched really bad (I think it was whatever product she mixed the oils with).
The manicures were not any better. They were still lost on what products to use, I never got lotion on my hands, when I left I still had some sea salt scrub on my hands (gross!) and I had fuzz from the cotton balls stuck in the nail polish. I also had glitter all over my hands from a bad color choice.
We left the «salon» at 8:30 (the appt. was at 5:30) feeling disappointed, definitely not relaxed and a little grossed out honestly. I wish our experience had been better considering how nice everyone was and I wish they all had a better knowledge of how it works. I will be looking in to whether or not any of them are even certified (as there were not certificates anywhere in the place).
Would I recommend this place to anyone else? NO.

This spa had the best customer service I have ever seen at a spa. They paid attention to detail and were extremely receptive to the customer’s needs. They offered snacks, drinks and pretty much anything you wanted. It kills me to give them such a poor review, but I was extremely disappointed in the end result of my manicure/​pedicure.
The woman who did my mani/​pedi spent so much time doing it and paid close attention to detail, however had such a hard time and put so much polish that after I got home (1 hour later) my nails were still not dry. The polished nails were uneven and the color was light in some parts of my nails and dark in others (not sure why).
There are only two manicure tables, and both were full so she had to do mine while I was still sitting in the pedicure chair, which was nice of her to adjust, but it just was not comfortable or relaxing for me to get a manicure like this.
I believe it is a new spa (?) so perhaps it will get better as time goes on. I hope they get better reviews. They have such a delightful staff!
