Maria Fiora’s Dance Studio offers both group classes & private lessons, both beginner & advanced classes, and both adult & kid classes in Latin, Salsa, Bolero, Samba or Argentine Tango, Swing Ballroom, and Swing. With a wide selection and a classes throughout the day, evening, and weekend, there is bound to be a class for you. You don’t even need to bring your own partner! We are accommodating of all schedules and needs. Mon-​Fri from 3−10pm. Available by appointment Mon-​Sun.

History

Established in 2001.

Maria Fiora is from Italy and grew up in Connecticut. She has been teaching and has had her own studio since 1996. As a national Latin competitor and performer in the USA and Europe, she has also trained and teaches in Europe and the US in many levels of dance. Her specialty is in music and choreography.

Maria’s instructors are experienced and current in the Latin and ballroom world, whether competitors in professional competitions or performing.

Staff:

— Cameron Johnson is a well-​known name in the ballroom world. He is also an adjudicator at many professional competitions.

— Robert Blank is ranked 3^rd as an amateur competitor in the U.S.

— Sarah May is a beginning teach, specializing in Ballroom, Latin, and kids dance.

Meet the Business Owner

Maria F.

Business Owner

Maria has been a dancer and coach for over 22 years. She was a National American Rhythm Latin dancer competitor from 1992 – 2009, has performed for Dancing With the Stars Curtain Call at the Palace for 4 years, and recent Judges Choice winner. Maria is also works in the community, working with adults and children in social, sport, and special events.

Maria is passionate about helping her community and those that can use dance to heal. One of her specialties is wellness through dance and healing through dance, whether it’s trauma or other health issues. It is her goal to help in her community.
