We provide our clients a complete, thorough, and honest home inspection of the property they plan to buy or sell at a reasonable price. Our home inspection reports are customized to the specific property we inspect and are narrative, detailed, and easy to understand plus include photos of issues discovered during the home inspection. Full of useful information, our reports are emailed directly to our clients the next business day of our inspection. For the benefits of our clients, we carry all the necessary insurances like professional liability insurance, errors and omissions insurance, and even workmen’s compensation insurance. We are also happy to say we have thousands of satisfied clients with a steady number of repeat clients.

The Scott family has been providing quality objective and reasonably priced residential home inspections since 1996 with pride and professionalism. We are a family owned and operated business. Scott and Scott Inc. is owned by George Neil Scott (who prefers to be called Neil) and Valerie Scott, husband and wife, who have been in the real estate business since 1993. G. Neil Scott has done every one of his own inspections since 1994 and is always there for any questions at any time in the present or future for his clients. Our oldest son, Neil, is now a home inspector since 2009 and also and plans to continue the family tradition of providing the same great quality home inspection services. We are located in the city of Stamford, (Fairfield County) Connecticut. Our goal is to provide top-quality and objective home inspections while keeping our prices reasonable and affordable.

Business Owner
George Neil Scott is a Connecticut licensed and insured, trusted and reputable home inspector, Connecticut state license number #HOI.314. Neil is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors ASHI.ORG which is an organization whose rigorous requirements far surpass those of the state’s for testing and continuing education. Neil combines the highest technical home inspection skills with superior customer service to provide the «ASHI experience» to his clients. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors and is past President (2008 – 2009) and past Vice President (2007 – 2008) of the Coastal Connecticut Chapter of ASHI Coastal CT ASHI.
