The Property Group of CT

Was treated incredibly rude by Pam when I called to get general information on a property that I have listed. Not helpful at all, and the owners pay their salary! No other property management I work with on a regular basis gives me any problem at all. Stay away!

I see that some people have had a slightly better experience with this company then we did. Wish I could say the same. John Sullivan is our manager at Libery Commons in Stamford and he is absolutely atrocious and a bold face liar. Yes I know that’s a very abrasive description… but it was totally earned. Trust me. He increased our common charges by 25% within a few months of taking over. It took him two months to come up with a b/​s excuse and he pointed fingers at the developer and allegedly our attached garage space with no heated was calculated in our total sq. footage. No documentation of any kind! He promised to have an HOA meeting in February. Never happened. He stopped replying to our emails. Brought the CT State AG into the picture. At first Mr. Sullivan cooperated. Now he’s blowing them off too. Every one here is livid with the increase as nothing was mentioned at the last HOA meeting. Our HOA is a joke! Over four years just three members. No annual revoting of the board members. Been asking for three years to be put on the board. Bill Goldberg, HOA president, just as useless as Sullivan.

I own a unit @ the Biltmore. The Property Group is the management company for the building. I had a water leak in my unit. I spoke w/​Jared @ the Property Group and he told me that his company could fix my unit, it was a very small job, a 2×7 piece of sheet rock and a 6ft span of shoe molding needed to be put back. I had a new tenant moving into my unit and needed it to be done quickly. After two weeks of asking for the bill, the Property Group finally sent it over. They charged me $ 1760 for the job, the bill did not have a date of service, nor did it mention the hours they were in my unit. I emailed Jared asking for the hours, he claims his workers were in my unit for 32 hours. It is impossible, b/​c my tenant was to move in the next day. The bldg. did not put this claim through the insurance company, so an adjustor did not see/​correct this staggering amount charged for a very small job. The Property Group made a very unfortunate situation into an opportunity to profit. I also own a unit @ CLocktower in Norwalk, The Property Group was the management company for that building, they were fired last year.

I lived in Stamford… Although your company doesn’t clean you do oversee it! As for you john Sullivan I email you many times and all you did was nothing! You told me not to email you any further! And you run this company Shame on u!!!

We had a succession of 5 property management groups over the course of two years. It was a real relief when The Property Group of CT showed up. Their staff is friendly, they are fast to reply to calls and they have been doing a reliable job maintaining our property in Fairfield.
