American Tire Depot – Stanton

I wanted to say a big thank you to Rico and the team at Americas Tire Depot at the Stanton location. I came in yesterday when I noticed a nail stuck in my tire and they went above and beyond to help me.
Because of the great service I told all my coworkers of my great experience and will definitely send people there way. Thanks again Rico!

As a female I often worry about going into auto shops to get work done. I’ve been to other places and have felt like I was immediately going to be ripped off, but not here. The staff was very polite and helpful. I didn’t feel like I didn’t have to buy anything I didn’t need. From the time I walked in Rico was very polite and the staff in the shop was great! Chris did a great job back there. This is where I’m taking my car for now on!

Went in today for tires for my girlfriends Mazda 3 after getting an irreparable flat tire in the early afternoon. Their current promotion is buy 3 tires, get 1 free. Walked out of there with all new tires and warranty for $ 330. We got there around 4:45 pm without an appointment and the lobby was full. We only waited about 3 minutes to be helped, went over several options for tires, and were told the car would be ready by 6pm. We left and then received a call around 5:40 that the car was ready. Keo was our very helpful and knowledgeable technician who even helped us put away the jack and spare tire afterwards. These guys work hard and are always busy, great quality and service in a very reasonable amount of time. We will be coming back regularly for rotations and repairs.

Went to American Tire Depot yesterday and bought 4 tires. Later that evening, front tire went flat and was stranded on freeway in coachella valley. Cost me 50 dollars to get tow truck out there to change spare.
This morning I went to the Westminster store at opening and explained the issue and the guy working at the counter didn’t seem to care and just said «we have to order the tire» «we don’t have it «. I ended up leaving and went to the American Tire Depot on Katella and Knott in Stanton where I explained to Vyron at the counter and he immediately asked to look at the tire and said they had tire in stock and that they would replace it. Keo worked on my car and showed me the problem on why my tire lost air. The valve stem that Westminster store put on was missing washer and grommet. He put new valve stem on and then brought me to the back to show me there was no air leaking from the tire now.
I was so impressed with the professionalism of this store and very disappointed with Westminster store. I will NOT be going back to Westminster again. Thank you Vyron and Keo. You guys are very knowledgeable and I appreciate you going that extra mile when it comes to customer service

2012 Nissan Altima Coupe –silver

Just the other week, my tire pressure light came on, so I decided to stop in at American Tire to have air put in them. All the guys were very nice and helpful. About a week later, I pulled into the Target parking lot and a long piece of metal popped my tire! :/​. After putting the spare on, I took it over to American tire to see if they can do anything about it. Now if it was any other place, they would have told me that my tire could not be saved and that I must buy a new one or else! But these guys were different. They offered to patch it for me as well as inform me of about how long the patch would last before air would start to escape.
With a daily 30 mile commute, my tire lasted a week and a half until the tire pressure light turned on. With this said, I decided to go on the weekend to have it changed, but an unfortunate occurrence happened. While I was driving home from a holiday party, I ran over a piece of scrap metal in the road and it caused my other tire to blow out! (when it rains, it pours)
Anyways long story short, the guys at American Tire understood my situation and were able to get me a new tire installed the following Monday, (yesterday) and since the tires are special order, they gladly ordered me the second tire and will hold it until after Christmas. :)
I highly recommend this place, it is a friendly environment and the guys are very welcoming and happy people! :)

I stopped by today to get my tires balanced and rotated. It seemed like today was the day when anyone and everyone decided to take their car in. I was very politely treated by Brian at the front counter. He confirmed that there were many cars ahead of me; which made sense considering I took the last parking space in the lot, and they were going to do their best to get to my car.
Coming from an automotive shop background, I was surprised they were actually able to finish my car today! Better yet, I have a habit of walking around the parking lot now and then to keep an eye on the mechanic working on my car to make sure they don’t cut corners and do a shotty job. I was very happy to see the mechanic, Keo, doing a great job that is worthy of being commended; even though there was a lot of work waiting. Not only is Keo a respectable mechanic, but he is also very polite and courteous person as well.
Even though I did need to leave my car at the shop for longer than I had assumed there were not many cars ahead of me; or other customers in line for that matter, it was well worth it. The staff was obviously swamped with work and dealing with many customers in the front, but they did nothing short of a commendable job. They were able to finish my car, even though they were overloaded and needing to work after hours, and did a great job at that!
Once again, hats off to Brian for doing a great job with getting things going and to Keo for being a great mechanic that did a thorough job even with a lot of work waiting! Thanks again guys, I will definitely be back!

Great tires, (hence 2 stars) but they didn’t fit right– brought it back to shop — they would rub the well when I turned– well they actually cut a hole in my wheel well to make it fit. Yes its and old truck, but really? Why not just sell me the correct ones in the first place! I Had a friend take his truck there — despite me telling him my run –in and they held it for 4 days waiting on a bolt — a bolt! This spot has changed hands a few times. Its a great location — so i imagine foot traffic is ample, but I think its some kind of learning center. Its the Super Cuts of Car maintenance/​repair!

Shout out to Freddy who from the moment I called on the phone to schedule my oil change and tire rotation was welcoming and friendly. He scheduled me right away and recognized me before I even made it to the counter when I walked in. He and the entire staff were super friendly and got me in and out in no time. A great experience, thank you guys!

Awesome I was dreading getting bigger tires for my truck Levi the manager got me 4 new Falken wild peaks a lifetime alignment and e year warranty for an awesome price very professional and friendly staff

I am very disappointed with this place. I was given wrong information and the people that work there are in such a bad mood. They feel like they can just disrespect you and raise their voices at you and forget that you are the customer. I even spoke to the manager Joe and he was not helpful at all. He even had another customer chewing him out at the time because he was promised something and they did not maintain their word. I say do not go hear and find a place that respects their customers. =)

Team was very helpful I had a nail in my tire. The team told me it would take about an hour and it was done in less than hour thank you for your great service!!!

After my last not so good review of this store I received a phone call from the general manager who was concerned with service or lack there of I received. To gain me back as a customer he gave me two free oil changes.
Yesterday, I made my first trek back to this store for the free oil change and also wanted to get the struts changed out. I had made an appointment using the online form a week prior. In the form I mentioned that I would like a quote for getting the struts replaced. I never received a call, nor a follow-​up reminder of the appointment on Saturday. I arrive at the store on time I was the only person in the store, the guy behind the counter said, ok I got you set up. I said I wanted a quote for struts because if the price was right I’d like to have them done at the same time. I was told they would call me later with the quote. At that point I told the guy I’m here right now and would like a quote there’s no reason why you can’t give me a quote. He seemed more interested in another customer who had walked through the door. I lit the guy up and told him he needed to focus on me first, since I was there first. I also told him about the conversation with the general manager after the last visit, and that straightened him out quickly. He promptly got on the phone with this strut supplier got the quote, said he gave me a discount on the parts and labor. The total came in under my budget so I told them to go ahead and do the free oil change, tire rotation and struts.
I got a call a few hours later that car was ready. The guy behind the counter was super nice, and apologetic about what happened in the morning. I told him no problem that customer service is a dying breed in this day and age. I drove the car home and the ride seemed smoother but bouncy.
Today I got a better chance to test drive the car before I take it on the road tomorrow. It felt really bouncy, sort of like I had a basketball on each wheel and not four tires.
I checked the air pressure and all the tires were 10 – 11 lbs OVER INFLATED! Talk about dangerous. I put the air pressure back to factory specs and the car drives smooth.
I so badly wanted to write a better review for this store especially after the general manager went out of his way to call me; however, sadly I can’t give this store better than two stars.

I do not recommend this place.
False advertising. (30′ sign says express oil change) not true. Came twice once was told three hours, second time told not today.
Well I guess I won’t be shopping local.

Came in and got the car fixed thanks to Tony. He advised me on what the car needed to be fixed I highly recommend you come to American tires in Stanton. Nice place great customer service.

This morning my daughter car had a flat tire. So I decided to take it to America tire in Stanton. I’m glad I did. The gentleman not only help me but was concerned about the safety of us as the tire was not repairable. I felt that I got a good deal but more important and that I felt cared about our safety. I was there less than hour. Well done and I’d recommend this shop for your tire needs thank you.

Inconsistent service quality.
You have to check if you’re getting the proper service. I bought my tires here. The front office Asian guy Tony is good. He follows the correct procedure if you get some other guy watch out. I brought my car for tire rotation, one guy did not give me a copy or record that I brought my car in. I had to ask him to give me something written to keep my warranty. He just scribbled something on paper. The day I had the rotation, I brought my car in at 12, Tony says couple of hours, I called at 2 another guy says it’s almost done, I called at 340 Tony says they just started on my car. (???) I only come back here because of the warranty.

Bought some tires online with a scheduled appointment for 10:30am the next… Came in, gave them my order number for my tires and my car was on the lift by 10:12am.Its a busy auto shop because they offer free tire repairsn that alone deserves 5 stars. Great prices for brand new tires. Be sure you check out their online shop first to make sure they have what you need in stock and also set an appointment because this shop gets busy. Tony was very helpful even though he seemed stressed out and busy, but other than that, the customer is. They finished by 10:55. Good, fast, friendly, honest & trustworthy service here. Will come back again if my tires give me any problems.

I noticed that one of my tires was running flat with a slow leak and took it in to have the tire repaired. Art, Tony, and the team are very helpful and professional. They had my tire patched and done within a hour and it was done for free. Good job.

I saw a deal in the paper that noted free tickets if you buy 4 tires. I called in and Jose H. said that I would receive both the Knotts and Angels tickets if I purchased 4 tires and spent more than $ 600. I made an appointment for that day and when I arrived he said he made a mistake and that it was only one or the other. I said that over the phone he promised me both and he agreed that he would figure out a way to resolve it. Fair enough. I went on with my purchase.
Flash forward several weeks later, and after many phone calls and lack of responses from Jose (after saying he would call me back) and I still haven’t received anything yet (not either tix). When I did speak with him on the phone to follow-​up he insisted it was taken care of, but as of now nothing has happened and I am getting frustrated with having to constantly call and follow-​up. In many ways I feel duped and taken advantage of. The olé bate and switch. I spent over $ 700 there and to be treated this way is upsetting and disrespectful. Just be wary as they are fast talkers and promise you stuff over the phone that they appear not to deliver.
For all of you thinking of buying tires to take advantage of their deals, just be careful and aware that you may encounter the same problems as me. You are probably better off going to Costco or America’s Tire…
If I receive my tickets (as promised) in the near future then i will certainly be happy to update this review. However, based on my current experience with them, I am not that confident this will happen. I am tempted to file a complain with the BBB. Will keep you updated in the coming weeks.
