Established in 1955.

Expertow Inc is a family business that has been providing professional emergency road service and towing to the motoring public within the communities surrounding Stanton CA for over 59 years.

Expertow contracts with AAA, CHP and other local law enforcement agencies.

Jim K.

Business Owner

Jim grew up in and around the family business of automotive repair, towing and service stations. At one time or another has worked in all areas of the business.

Having graduated from USC in 1981 and accomplished the goals he set for himself as a CFO within the construction industry, Jim returned to take over the family business in 2002. Jim is proud of his family’s 59 year continuous operating history in the automotive repair business, as well as the over 30 year operating history in the emergency road service and towing industry.

His goals and strategies for the future are solidly focused on customer service and continued success in automotive services in California!

Jim is very involved with the industry and community. He is a past State President of the California Tow Truck Association (CTTA) and is a member of the CTTA Towing Regulatory Oversight Council and the AAA So Cal Service Provider Advisory Committee.

Needed to get my battery changed as it died on my way to LAX. The woman I spoke to was very pleasant and assured the driver will be at my location shortly with a new battery.
The attendant who arrived tested the battery and replaced it. However, his demeanor was as if he didn’t want to be bothered and wanted to finish the job. (I get it, its early and maybe he wasn’t an early person)
He got my battery installed and I was on my way to LAX.
The three is because the job was done. A five would have been given if I was wowed at the service.

I was on my commute to school with class starting in 30 minutes, when my tire blew. I called AAA, and within minutes Nicolaas Boers showed up. He was compassionate, kind, funny, and informative. He never made me feel uncomfortable or stupid and I am so thankful that he quickly and safely changed my tire for me. I was only 15 minutes late to class, only because I still had half of my commute to go! Nicolaas offered quick service and turned an unfortunate event into a pleasant one. So, THANK YOU Nicolaas!

The best service I’ve had in long time. Being a former Disney employee of 4 years I kinda know service. Lol. Nicolaas Boers was both professional and easy going. I had locked my keys in my car and Mr. Nicolaas Boers was the tow driver who helped me out.
I must say I was impressed; he was quick, and unlocked my Lexus effortlessly. Couldn’t have asked for better service, especially since he was funny and made the situation much less nerve-​wracking!
I should also say that he found the place pretty quickly, it wasn’t in an easy spot to get at.

My car wouldn’t start and I was very aggravated and then our tow truck driver showed up and made everything go smoothly! He was very professional and polite and got my car up on his truck in no time at all! Nicolaas Boers was our driver and he did a great job if you need a tow I would highly recommend this company and this tow truck driver! Great job all around!!!

I got a flat off the 22 and called AAA. They sent Exportow Inc. out and within less than 10 minutes of the call they arrived. Nic Boers was really helpful and got me to the dealership to get my flat fixed. The service was great and he was friendly. Really glad AAA uses them as a vendor.

I am reviewing off of a previously bad review, over the past week I had a bad experience and unfortunate circumstances that occur when having my truck repaired with Expertow. What started as a simple battery replacement turned into this larger ordeal that could have been handled better at first but once I began speaking with Danny, the situation became a lot smoother. He took responsibility and tried every way possible to correct the issues with my truck. He kept in contact with me and was very prompt and honest with me when it came to the repair. I also spoke with the owner James and he ensured me he has addressed the situation with all the employees. I have gained my trust back with Expertow and would definitely come back and refer to Expertow for any future automotive needs.

After getting back from the Thanksgiving holiday, my car overheated and would not start. I called AAA and they put me through to Expertow.
I immediately got a call from their dispatch with an approximate time of 30 minutes. To my surprise, Nicolaas was there in 15 minutes. He really lightened the mood and you could tell he really enjoyed dealing with customers.
After my car cooled down I was able to get it started and drive home. Nic offered to follow me almost 30 miles so that if I broke down I could have help immediately.
Needless to say I made it home without the tow, but Nic really helped me feel at ease as I was driving back home. I can’t thank him enough for the support and i would recommend Nic and expert tow to anyone who needs it.

Peace of mind after I left with my repaired car from ExperTow this morning!
I met the owner through the work he does in the community and had no idea they did auto repair in addition to towing.
I told them my car is older and starting to get some problems but I hope to get a few more years out of it since it’s paid for. They had me bring it in and they did a full evaluation and came back with recommendations on what could be done and broke it into phases by priority.
I told them what i could afford now and they did the essentials (windshield repair and brakes). I’m going to bring it in for a few other things over next 6 months based on their suggestions. Never felt pressured to do everything or to do things immediately, and the price was sooooo right!
Shop foreman Bob is super nice guy and was always responsive and friendly when I called or stopped by.
Happy today knowing my car is running well, I have a plan to make some repairs in the short time and looks like I can keep it going for several more years!!!

First of all the tow truck driver (his name is Blake) showed up 15 minutes sooner than expected so he can take his time to setup the truck. In my experience all tow trucks always showed up late. The car being towed was a Nissan 240SX and is a very difficult car to tow properly because it’s so insanely low to the ground. Upon arrival at the destination location, I was watching Blake closely and saw how he did a stunning job taking the car down very slowly and carefully taking his time to make sure no damage or scratches would happen to the car. Most tow truck drivers just wanna get the car out of the way as fast as possible and move on to the next customer but Blake was more concerned on the quality of service which I really appreciated. That deserves a badass 5 stars from me!

I have used this service at least four times in the last two years, and every time they have been wonderful, whether it has been for a battery start or delivering gas.
They show up right on time and are quick and very courteous and helpful.
Whether you have AAA or not, call them first!
Special props to Bernie and to Danny, both of whom were polite, friendly, and got me right back on the road.
This is the company I would hope my young daughter would call if she were stranded in the middle of the night.

AAA sent these guys out to rescue me. Joe (?) with ExperTow showed up fast. I think the closest description to how fast he was, can be compared to a pit in Nascar. And i always feel like I’m racing around town carpooling kids in record time. That flat hardly slowed me down. He was polite, professional and knew how to do his job QUICLY! I love when AAA contracts with quality companies. I hope I dont need him again soon, but will try to request his company next time I am in the area and need AAA to come rescue me again!!!

This review is for auto repair.
My check engine light conveniently turned on days before a smog test (which I needed for registration renewal). The smog shop (not Expert Tow, for they are not a smog shop) would not smog the car knowing that it wouldn’t pass, in-​which I truly understand and respect their consideration.
I contacted Jim (owner and operator of Expert Tow) and told him my situation. He expressed confidently that they can figure out this «check engine light» rather simply with their top of the line technology and certified mechanics.
Arriving at their nicely maintained facility/​shop, Jim immediately greeted me, briefed me on their procedure and introduced me to Bob.
Bob, a very personable and professional mechanic took over from that point. After running the diagnostics, he told what was the issue, fixed the problem, reset the code (which turns off the light) and offered additional advice pertaining to my vehicle, including future maintenance options. Without any further challenges, the car passed the smog test, and I was very satisfied with choosing Expert Tow.
I highly recommend Jim, Bob and others at Expert Tow.

Had a flat tire with a screw in it and could not get my spare out of my trunk on my own. Phoned AAA and they sent a truck from here. Had my flat off and my spare on in just 5 minutes! Amazing speedy service. I know who to call when I have a problem near that location again. Great job!

The lady turdy is completely rude! Horrible customer service! AAA should never use them!
They said they would be here in 45 min, they never got here. When we called to ask they were rude, and had the worst attitude ever. Never contacting this place again!!! They dint even deserve one star!

Thank goodness for AAA and Expertow. Josh was quick to arrive (waited less than 30 minutes) and very professional. Tested and replaced my car battery in about 15 minutes.
