CHROME offers a different atmosphere than most bars and night clubs in State College, PA. Mixing hip-​hop and house beats for a sound like no other, CHROME has the music, the drinks, and the ambiance like the clubs in major cities around the country.

We offer drink specials all day every day, and a happy hour from 8pm –10pm Wednesdays and Saturday and 8pm — 12am Thursday and Friday that is tailored to suit all tastes. We’ve got specialty martinis, assorted liquors and beers, and bottle service for special occasions.

The kitchen will be open 7 days a week from opening until 1:30am, serving a diverse menu featuring homemade specialties and exotic Mediterranean cuisine.

And of course, e-​hookahs, with a wide-​range of flavors for your smoking pleasure.

Nice atmosphere to relax drinks are little pricey keeps the scum out I guess. Music is alright not much dancing. It’s good place to chill with a friend and smoke.

Chrome is one of my favorite bars in state college. They have great specials and quality drinks. It can get crowded and it is kind of small, but it still has a lot of upsides. The drinks are really well made and the bartenders are awesome. The food is nothing special, but it really is more of a bar. The chrome is a good cheap drink they offer but my favorite is the top shelf White Russian. The Moscow mile is also really cool.

They told me I was too drunk to get in. Was I drunk? Maybe. How many drinks did I have? Three. How many drinks did I tell them I had? One. I asked «how do you know I am too drunk?» They said, your tone. I asked them «How do I normally sound?» They said nothing.
So we went to the Second and spent $ 50.

This is the only place I have sampled a hookah where the atmosphere is anything but Mediterranean. This very modern club atmosphere isn’t bad but also isn’t what I personally enjoy with a hookah. Still the service was good as the drinks and hookah were.

Loved everything about this place — atmosphere, food, drinks, prices and service were all fantastic. The portions of the food are big enough to share, the bartender was super friendly and able to recommend some good drinks and his favorite hookah flavors. Highly recommended and we’ll be back!

Chrome is a smaller, intimate hookah lounge that you need to go to. But I also don’t want you to go, because honestly, this is my new spot and its just not big enough to hold everyone. Alright, alright, I see your point — if you enjoy hookah or have never tried it — you need to go here, fine I’ll share. But I’m not happy about it. You borrowed 2 Hot Wheels cars 18 years ago and never returned them. I haven’t forgotten; you can call me Dumbo.
The Chrome experience starts with friendly staff at the door. These guys are chill and happy to see you. Wait staff, off the flippin’ charts. Warning — if an attractive lady quizzes you on her ethnicity you’re going to answer incorrectly. She’ll laugh, you’ll laugh and feel like a dummy, but its all good. Finally, the smoke is smooth and tasty. This gem should be polished and enjoyed by many.
