Spaces Design is an interior design studio located in State College, PA specializing in residential and commercial interior design. Additionally, we feature HunterDouglas window coverings and custom closets, as well as a variety of home décor items including furniture, lighting, area rugs, and fabrics. Whether your style is contemporary, traditional, transitional or somewhere in between, we can offer a comprehensive or «ala carte» approach to assist you with your project needs.

History

Established in 2007.

In February of 2007 Spaces officially opened it’s showroom doors to the State College, PA market. However, the window coverings and custom closet portion of the business date back to 2002 in the form of two shop-​at-​home businesses; The Blinds Connection and The Closet Connection. Additionally, the interior design principal, Susan Brown, began her professional design career in New York City in 1994 and has been practicing locally since 2004. In January of 2013 we moved from our original location at 1012 West College Avenue to our new location on Elmwood Street.
