LARRY!!! We had such an amazing time last night. My fiancé got her 1^st tattoo and I got my 3^rd. He was so funny, entertaining and at the same time very focused. He did an amazing job. Thank you Larry for your time and company, we love youuuuuuuuuu!!!

I took my daughter in to get a double helix and everyone was SO nice. This place is super clean – we were really impressed.

Awesome experience at Tahoe Tattoo! Bobby is extremely talented, professional and very respectful! He does everything to make sure you’re happy, comfortable and satisfied with the entire visit. This is the place to get your work done. I will definitely be returning to get more work done as well as my wife and even my daughter! Went in on a whim and had the pleasure of having Larry do a little bit of work on me. He is AWESOME at what he does, attentive, and great with detail. I’m planning on another 3 hour trip for some more. Look out Kids… She’s comin back!

First let me preface this by saying that I have been to several tattoo shops and always had a similar experience… great art and work but not so friendly and generally speaking most of the tattoo artist I’ve dealt with have been arrogant and not exactly friendly. This was not the experience with tahoe tattoo. My wife and I were staying in tahoe for the weekend for her birthday and she wanted a tattoo. I called the shop late on a Friday night to see if they had an appointment. Spoke to Bobby and he said they would text me when they were available. After waiting for a bit my wife and I got bored and decided to head over. We were greeted right away by the shop girls and asked what she wanted. They helped us look through some scripts and then when they saw it would be a bit they offered to make us an appointment for the next day. During this time the tattoo artist Bobby came over and introduced himself. He was extremely friendly and professional. We went back the next day at our scheduled time and they were a little bit late (not a big deal) once they got there Bobby called us over and got to work right away. He was extremely friendly and talkative and very professional. This was very refreshing considering our past experiences. He made my wife feel very comfortable and was very informative about the tattoo she wanted. He took his time and did an excellent job. When he was done he made sure she understood his aftercare instructions and was very thorough. I can’t say enough good things about this shop and Bobby Real. Truly a class act and a great artist! Hands down best shop we have ever been to and I plan on going back to get my next tattoo here. In fact I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else this, in my experience is a rarity and worth any amount they would charge! Thank you tahoe tattoo for being a cut Above the rest!

My daughter dragged me in to Tahoe Tattoo over the holiday wkend. We were greeted right off, and made to feel welcome, which isn’t the case in some shops. The lovely lady at the front desk worked with my daughter on the drawing, and was very patient with her as she rambled off what she wanted. The shop was clean, bright and very cool. Bobby Real worked with my daughter, and was a solid professional from beginning to end. He had a very comfortable space with a couch for my daughter’s entourage to lounge on, and lots of great art work to look at. A great experience for my daughters first tattoo. I would def recommend. Best tattoo shop I’ve been too in a long time! Artist BobbyReal was awesome. Educated me on tattoo care, healing time, and let me know exactly what to expect. He gave me an awesome tattoo and an awesome experience!!! Will definitely be coming back!

Just got tattooed by Bobby Real and I love it. The tattoo parlor has an amazing vibe to it and Bobby is fantastic! I highly recommend seeing him for some customized art work. I live in Sonoma County and I will definitely be coming back to Tahoe to be getting more work done by him. Thank you Bobby!

If you are looking for an inviting, relaxed, and overall awesome place to get a tattoo THIS IS THE SPOT!!! Bobby «M.F.» Real took the time to make sure I was happy with things before we even got started, He gave me a few times to get up out of the chair so I didn’t get uncomfortable, and checked with me to make sure I was good to keep going. It was quite possibly the best, easiest, and funnest 3.5 hour session ever. Top quality work and very clean environment with friendly and funny employees. Can’t say enough good things to cover the experience I had on my visit to Tahoe. I might have to make another 15hr trip from Washington just to have my work done by these professionals. THANK YOU!!!

Spur of the moment Tahoe Fun Tattoo, I got this wild hair for impromptu ink and what do you know this place is right there in the middle of all the fun, great place clean and everyone in there are very helpful and awesome thanks for a great experience I’ll be back for more my next visit!

I was in Tahoe for the weekend and randomly decided to get a tattoo (a friend of mine wanted to get a piercing but didn’t want to be the only one getting something done!). We went in a little bit after the shop opened on a Saturday. Brian was the tattoo artist working. I just wanted to get a small thing on my wrist and he said no problem. There was just one person he was about to start and he’d text me when he was done so I could come back in. Thankfully my schedule was flexible that day. I got his text like he said and came in. Brian was super nice and professional and made me feel comfortable. This isn’t my first tattoo but i’m always nervous going into a tattoo shop. I would definitely recommend Brian.

Not crowded, well lit area, very clean.
Great communication even before I can up for my appointment was spot on. I got my tattoo from Oscar and he was very professional and upbeat. I didn’t have to wait long before I was in the chair. I’m from sf and will be coming to Tahoe tattoo for all my tattoos now.

Piercer Melissa Morgan is super quick and makes getting pierced a hilarious but serious event. I’ve had my nose pierced on both sides, both nipples and three ear piercings done by her and all were virtually painless. I trust her with the needles and I’ve always been horrified of piercings!
Brian tattooed my husband and he was so good and concentrated and did such beautiful detailed work. My sister is a tattoo artist and had nothing negative to say about his work. He’s very professional and an awesome artist!
We love these two!

Needed to remove my bars that I’d gotten in January add one of my nipples was too large for the bar — one of the balls kept getting lodged back inside the piercing.
She was fabulous!!! Had no problems replacing them, quick, painless and so very efficent!
Briefly looked at the tattoo book, may come back for one soon.

My husband and I were in Tahoe for our 30 Anniversary last month and we went in for a ring tattoo for him and he talked me in to getting my nose pierced, something I have always wanted but was a little nervous of doing! Irish Brian did his tat and it came out beautifully and Mel pierced my nose, they were both awesome. Mel was very honest, informative and gentle and I just love how both my nose and my husband tattoo turned out. We recommend them to anyone visiting the area!

Bobbie Real is the REAL DEAL and Mickey is a straight up SWEETHEART !!! Talked with Bobbie for a few minutes and overnight he came up with art work that blew my mind. I was so pumped when I saw the design that I sat in the chair for over 8 hrs the following day getting the work done. This guy is a machine and has some serious artistic talent, every detail came out perfect. I had a complicated design with alot of detail I still can’t believe how he made everything work !! Thanks Bobbie, this Sh$@ is perfect, I owe you one buddy…
On another note, I’ve been to a number of tattoo shops over the past 2 years without pulling the trigger, Each time something just wasn’t quite right but after just a few minutes in this shop, I knew I had the right place. The people here are down to earth and seriously know there stuff. Mickey is a straight up sweetheart and the store is first class, CLEAN, top of the line tattoo equipment, multiple rooms, flat screen TVs on the walls and iPads for viewing previous customer tattoos, and how can you beat a view of the Hard Rock Hotel directly across the street when your getting your ink done? This place is the whole package. I had family in there waiting on me, Bobbie and Mickey took care of them like they were in the VIP room at Harrah’s.
Say goodbye to those stuffy old tattoo shops with bad attitudes and bad energy. Anyone thinking about getting ink done …

My husband’s artist was Irish Brian, and he was awesome! We told him what we wanted a couple days before the tattoo, and he did a great job in getting exactly what we had in mind. Our tattoo turned out awesome! Rates were very reasonable, and he’s pretty funny too:) Would definitely recommend him.

Brian is one of the tattoo artists and he’s done 4 of my 6 tattoos and is the only artist I’ll ever get my work done from. A couple of them are cover ups and they seriously look waaaay better (and you can’t even tell they’re cover ups, woohoooo). Not to mention, I got a tattoo on a burn that’s on my right arm. Now all I wear are short sleeves shirts to show off the ink work rather than cover up my burn, thanks to Brian’s talent. I definitely recommend Brian or any of the other artists that are CURRENTLY in the shop. They’re all very professional but still easy going.
I’ve received piercings from both Mel and Bronson and they’re amaze-​balls!!! Mel is ridiculously educated in her field of work. I’ve had my belly button, nose, tongue, & other body parts pierced at other shops and out of all the piercers, she is by-​far the MOST well-​informed. They made my nipple piercing and tragus experience soooo fun!!!
I’ve read the two negative reviews… Let me just say that one is valid but the other is not… I was there about to get some work done so I know what actually happened. Anyways, I don’t want t speak negatively about anyone so I really suggest going into Tahoe Tattoo and checking out their work and meeting the artists in person. I would really hate for someone to miss out on some DOPE ARTWORK. It will, after all, last a lifetime.
