pretty okay. tabbouleh was soso, the falafal may have been good fresh, but it seemed to sitting for a while.

Went there me and two NYPD officers were waiting to order(mind you I’m Pakistani) they skipped all three of us and went to Pakistani men who were wearing Shalwar Kameeze(ethnic clothing) I was wearing jeans nevertheless, that’s rude and UNACCEPTABLE! I like their food but not that much! You don’t skip over customers!

I come to this place nearly every Sunday, in order to get my groceries, meat, and sometimes food. One of the reasons this is the best place in Staten Island is because of those three things. For groceries, this place is a regular market with moderate prices for Indian, Pakistani, Bengali, and Sri Lankan groceries. For meat, the butcher is very friendly and prices are moderate. Also it depends on the type of meat, since this place is only halal they only serve chicken, lamb, and beef. And lamb is slightly more expensive than chicken(pound wise) Now for the restaurant, this place is a gem located in a sort of low income area. The kebabs are spicy but scrumptious, the fish masala is okay(not exceptional not horrible but, sort of in the middle. The same is for the masala. However, the Biryani is exceptional, the Chana(Chickpeas) is very tasty, Palak Paneer is exceptional. It is like they spent the whole year in them. The naan is very fluffy and it is fresh when they give it to you. The sweets are authentic Pakistani delicates. And this is all for a very very low price. Also, the wait isn’t long it is very short. All in all, with all these attributes, I give it 5 stars.

My first time trying Indian food and it was absolutely amazing ! I come to this place about two times a week. The naan is amazingly fresh and the buttered chicken is too die for. The outside might turn you away but the food won’t. The price is perfect for these dishes.
