The massage during hair wash is amazing. The blow outs are great, not so much the haircut. Their Mani, Pedi & Blow Out special is a great price that gets me to come. Other than that if you are looking for quality cuts I’d go elsewhere.

Paid extra to have my hair styled. Even with heavy use of hair products, the style– I paid extra for –undid itself in less than15 minutes. My hair looked disgusting by the time my event rolled around an hour later.
I could have done a better job. Cut was uneven as well. Maybe it was just my stylist, but my experience was not positive. May give it a second chance with a different stylist.

I honestly really liked this place. It came recommended from a friend from work who goes practically every week. This is the kind of place to go to when you don’t feel like washing/​doing your hair and getting a quick, nice mani/​pedi.
The only reason to go here is for the Daily Special: $ 30 for a mani, pedi, shampoo, and blowout. That’s a steal considering other places charge that much just for a mani and pedi.
Yasmine did my nails and did an amazing job. When I asked her to cut short, she did. And her leg massage lasted a while. And my nails dried incredibly fast. They do nails upstairs which is nice cause its away from the loud noise of blow driers. Very relaxing.
They use amazing smelling shampoo. Smelled like lavender and eucalyptus, very relaxing. Not only do they throughly wash your hair, they massage your scalp and neck. Then afterwards give you a glorious back massage.
David blew out my hair straight and it’s just simple. My hair isn’t runway ready, but I wasn’t looking for that. It’s how I wear my hair everyday. They charge a few extra bucks if you want curls. Other girls in there had curls done and their hair looked phenomenal! I think I’ll get curls next time.
Everyone there was super friendly and I’m happy with what the staff did. I can see this becoming a weekly habit.

I went here for a trim last weekend. Just a trim!!! Ken butchered my hair. Took inches off. It’s not even. It’s completely choppy. The shampoo guy went ham on my scalp and had irritation for days. Save up an extra 30 bucks and go to a real salon. I had to leave 1 star because I can’t post without at least a one star rating. This place deserve –100 stars.

Do not ever go here for eyelashes. They’ll tell you that they know how to do individual lashes and they do not! They look like what you would pay $ 20 for at a nail salon, but I was charged over $ 100!!! My eyes were repeatedly burned by the excessive glue, they were not even, days later they are falling off in some spots while the others are too hard to get off due to all of the glue. If you want to look natural, please don’t even consider, the only reason that I gave one star is because everyone there was nice, except for the receptionist that was there when I returned the next day to complain. And don’t believe all of the positive feedback left, I know at least one was written by a staff member.

Lovee going here to get my hair done the people are so nice n the stylist are awesome at their work espically semine! i would not go anywhere else to get my hair done!

Ken is the best!!! I went to another hair salon and they did a terrible haircut and blow out. All I have to do so show Ken a picture of what I wanted and he did this magic. All of the staff are great for blowouts and style. I cant complain about this place.

Anyone that knows me knows I love a good blowout! On the island there are a lot of places and many places are quite affordable. However the quality varies greatly. I have been coming here for years. I’m loyal to one hair stylist. My favorite style is a flat blowout with a high bump and side bang. No flyaways and it looks sleek for days. The best part is you get a lengthy head and back massage during the wash. It’s a great spot!

Think twice! I had 2 equally bad experiences!
First time I went for a blow-​out and was laughed at by stylists making fun of my Devachan cut as if it was uneven (they obviously never heard of dry/​curly cutting techniques). I’m the fool for going back a second time (no one else was open) and they were nice this time but I got the most uneven haircut… what was supposed to be an A-​line bob is a choppy crazy mess in the back with random pieces well over an inch longer than others.
Worst part is how I was treated when I called about it the horrible cut… I was blamed, patronized and then told I absolutely cannot have a refund (only $ 35) but they would «try» to fix it. I will not let anyone there touch my hair ever again! If any decent stylists work there they should find a more professional work place!

Directed to the threading area where I was greeted by a direct, yet kind woman who was very efficient. She advised me to use the bathroom to check her work however the bathroom light is extraordinarily dim, on the verge of going out. I had to go back to the main threading room to see her work in the light. With the exception of a couple of spots she missed and then quickly fixed, I was very pleased with the cost of a full face threading that was so thorough 35 $ for being a first time visitor. She was speedy and communicative and I would definitely return to her for she is very skilled at her craft. Parking was easy, a small space in the back. I was able to walk in after calling only 20 minutes before. They advised before 4pm it’s easy to be seen right away on a weekday. The place was clean and cutely decorated.

Like other review said. I went in for a underarm waxing first visit $ 12, second visit now $ 15. Then the lady have the nerve to show me the brochure. Then what got me furious and mad credit card minimum is $ 10. On top of that plus tax. If it was in cash, no tax. Cause of their service hah no tip. Called them up then they got pissed and mad cause I didn’t leave a tip like another review said don’t leave tip they get mad. From the info I get, they overcharge and can’t pay the lousy credit card fee themselves, what service is that. They just lost a customer.

I came back to this place even though my last review sounded like it was just over for me and I had such a better mood when I was done there. I didn’t make an appointment and it was a early weekday which I was hoping it was not crowded and it wasn’t bad at all. I loved the new nail polishes they had and I got seen right away. The girl who did my manicure and pedicure was new I never seen her but she was good and was nice and I loved the color I chose. When it came to my hair being washed it was the best part, I enjoyed my long scalp massage and wash, it sure was being extra cleaned and the shampoos smell really good too. The hair dresser who did my hair was actually the same one from last time, I didn’t wanna be rude and I didn’t wanna wait neither so I let her do my hair and once again she was burning my scalp and I pulling out my hairs when trying to curl it, I just went with it and just wanted it to be over, I think next time I will def. go to someone else. You can’t go wrong with a $ 30 hair, nails and pedicure so I always try to take that into mind and the owner Tina is always nice and compliments me every time I see her. I would come back since I do have a change of heart and just skip the hair dresser for another, my hair will def. thank me since I don’t have that much.

This may be the last pedicure I ever get. Day after, my 2^nd toe from big was so sore I could barely walked and got purple and swollen. Went to doctor, he doesn’t think it is infected, but I suffered trauma to my cuticle and nail bed. Very heavy handed with the cuticle scissors and scrapers here. Very cheap but if you add in the doctor appointment not worth it!

Asked for a pixie cut and got a bob. I have to blow it out every day for it to look remotely OK. My hair is very fine and thin so this is not a good thing. Since it was my first visit here, I shouldn’t have been reading while he did the cut. I told him I wasn’t happy and he told me that he made me look younger. Creep.
I also got a manicure which was fine but this neighborhood is full of places to get a reasonable manicure.
They advertise themselves as a salon but no one offered anyone so much a glass of water. I didn’t see any licenses displayed. That should have been my signal to leave.

I’ve been there three time, first time i felt that Michael had a heavy hand but he did a good job with the hair cut i wanted. Since I was happy with the cut i returned and he did even a better job, the cut, bangs and blow out were really good. The 3^rd time I saw David and he distroyed my hair. The bangs are different lenghts and my long layers are terrible. Someone told me I have a «80’s Punk» look… I was not going for that look. David was very nice but he did not do a good job. If you go see Michael but be ready for some pain as he has a heavy hand and pulls your hair. LOL

I am in love with Ken. I always leave here feeling 10lbs lighter because Ken does such a fantastic job on my hair. If there is a long line for Ken, then go to Michael. He is also VERY GOOD.

Wish i could give no stars… Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Worst eyebrow threading I’ve every had. Worse than waxing, idk what she did but after I left there I put sanitizer over my eyebrows which I always do, better safe than sorry! Anyway my right eye was burning usually stings a little. While the next day as I was washing my face, I noticed that I’m getting scabs under my brow from where she somehow ripped the skin off while threading!!! Never ever will I return to her shop, no wonder it looked deserted. I’ll keep getting them done in BK as I’ve been doing since I moved here to SI.

Best blow outs ever. Tina runs the place & she’s soooo nice. Ken is the best for cuts & blowouts. $ 30 for a cut & blowout. can’t beat it. and theyre the masters of the curly sexy supermodel hair blowouts. u can’t beat the prices. there’s always a wait. on a fri nite its mayhem. they do mani/​pedi/​eyebrows, threading, dye, highlights the works. parking in the back but limited. not the best place I’ve ever been to for color. but when it comes to dye sumtimes u get what u pay for. but Ken is awesome, blow outs r great there

I’ve been coming here for years whenever I visit SI. They’ve come up ALOT and recently went back for their blowout and mani/​pedi special which runs at… sit down for this… $ 30!!! They had this last summer as well, and I’m not sure if this is all the time but it’s goin on now! They charge extra if you want curls. It’s a house converted into a salon, and now they do massages. They renovated the upstairs into a lovely space where they do mani/​pedis on the second floor. Massages I heard were on the third floor. Décor is minimal, chic and clean. I walked in with no appointment and it was packed but they took me no problem. You walk in and up a small flight of steps. Once up the steps, the main floor is where the hair is cut, styled or washed. They have a back room and upstairs for the nails. There is a flat screen in the back as well and pop music playing in the background. As it was packed, they took me upstairs and my nail tech got started on my mani pedi. Once I was done, she took me downstairs where other towel heads awaited a stylist, and being in a rush (bc my girl, god bless her, took an hr plus to do my nails!) I got a little worried that I would have to wait behind my fellow towel heads. But as soon as I said that I had been upstairs getting my nails done and that I had been here before the rest, the kind stylist took me first. He did a wonderful job and blew out my hair with product to keep frizz free, which worked fantastically. While getting your hair washed, they take a few minutes to massage the scalp, head and neck and back! At each step, they really make an extra effort to ensure a positive and beautiful experience. They have lots of repeat customers (such as myself) as you can tell by them knowing the staff’s names and stories. I’m very impressed, they’ve come up alot and I’m happy to see them doing so well.
