Your experience here completely depends on who you get as your hairdresser. It’s one of the only Korean hairdressers in Staten Island, so a bunch of Korean people flock here. It gets pretty busy on Sundays, so be sure to call ahead and see if they can fit you in. I’ve gotten straight perms and Brazilian perms done here. The guy who works here and the lady who owns the salon are pretty good. I’ve even had haircuts here, and the owner lady is the only one my mom lets cut/style it. There is one other woman who seems and acts like a trainee, even though she’s been working there for years(not sure if she still is). She’s always managed to burn my ear when straightening my hair with the iron for straight perms(like without fail). This place used to be really good, but now things have gone down. I heard they actually changed owners, which could be the reason. I’d rather just get my hair cut in Manhattan and suck it up on the high prices for a better experience.
