Dani Scarcella Makeup Artistry

I recently hired Dani to do my makeup for a wedding and I don’t know where to begin to tell you about how talented and accommodating she was. I don’t wear much make-​up to begin with so I was a bit nervous. We spoke multiple times prior to our appointment. She really pays close attention to every detail, She asked me questions like, «what color and type of dress are you wearing?» to «How are you doing your hair?». I knew at this moment that I made the right choice in hiring her. The day of our appointment she had a make-​up station set up and it was quite impressive… I can go on and on gushing about Dani’s talent and professionalism but her passion and attention to detail from skin type and coloring to hair style and dress type, That is what really made me feel very comfortable about working with her. Needless to say that I received so many compliments at that wedding and it made me feel good… She exceeded my expectations and I’d recommend her to all of my family and friends in the near future.

Dani is a very caring person who takes pride in her work. Her work speaks for itself; highly talented, extremely knowledgable and has a professional aspect that defines her hard work and dedication. The ability she has to take clients considerations and her vast experience in beauty is unparalleled.

Dani was amazing! she was professional from start to finish. it was my wedding day and I did not want to look silly, I am not a spring chicken and she made me look youthful but at the same time age appropriate. Her hairstylist was also amazing! they showed up on time, and I felt as if i was sitting with a friends. I was so happy when they were done.

Dani is one of the BEST MAKEUP ARTISTS I’ve ever worked with! I contacted her for a wedding makeup trial, in which she provided two looks on the same day, and was AMAZED by her work, personality, and professionalism. Not only did the makeup come out absolutely GORGEOUS but it was like having a friend do your makeup. She was fun to work and is very easy going. I liked her so much that I also asked her to do my makeup for my engagement photo shoot. I just got the pictures back this week and WOW the makeup was flawless and natural looking. It also lasted the whole day and into the night. I really cannot wait for her to do my wedding makeup in August. I will continue to use her as well as recommend her to friends and family who are in need of a makeup artist who not only is great at her job but also a great person! Dani did my hair and make up for my May 2014 wedding and it came out so incredible! We did a trial beforehand which I loved but on the day of the wedding she went above and beyond! She paid attention to some of the changes I wanted to make and went above and beyond. I looked radiant and glowing! To this day I have friends and family who still comment on how beautiful And flawless I looked. My hair and make up both lasted the whole day as well. I was amazed that my hair stayed curly for more than 8 hours and my make up hadn’t smudged with all the dancing and hot summer weather. She was both friendly, on time, and very professional. Dani was also very prepared and came with everything she needed to make me look beautiful. I didn’t feel awkward at all and had a great experience. Dani even noticed my sewing machine and when I told her I could not get it to thread, she went home and sent me a video explaining how to fix my problem! I would definitely go back to her when I need professional hair and make up done. I’m also looking forward to her make up lessons coming up in 2015!

Dani is absolutely unbelievably talented, not to mention a great person both professionally and personally.
I first had Dani do my hair and make-​up for a wedding in December of 2013, and what really struck me when initially working with her was her professionalism. She contacted me about 10 days in advance of my appointment to request that I send her a variety of hair and make-​up pictures to ensure that visually we were on the same page in terms of my expectations. While I have a vast amount of experience in getting my hair and make-​up done professionally, but nobody has ever requested that type of detail and it pleased me.
In addition to being punctual and prepared, Dani’s upmost concerns are to ensure that her clients are happy, she will make recommendations as to what she feels would look best in terms of color and/​or style, but she NEVER ignores requests from her clients nor does she take artistic license unless otherwise requested.
Every single time I’ve had my make-​up done professionally prior to working with Dani, (except on my wedding day) I’ve always had to go home and touch things up to make sure that I looked the way I liked. I’ve NEVER had to touch anything on my face nor my hair after Dani has worked her magic.
That night in December 2013 changed everything as all of my friends and family who attended the wedding and saw pictures on Facebook wanted to know who glammed me up.
Ever since then, as soon as I receive an invitation to an affair (so far I’ve had 14 in 2014) I immediately book an appointment with Dani. It’s impossible for me to go anywhere with having her do my hair and make-​up.
Dani is also so skilled and professional that I have left my comfort zone and experimented with bolder shades of lipstick and different types of hairstyles, as typically I’ve been a nude lipgloss gal and the results are amazing.
We have such a rapport at this point that I just sit down and tell her what I’m thinking and/​or wearing and she provides me with her expertise and suggestions. I have never trusted someone with my hair and face the way I do with Dani.
Dani knows her products and has shown me what to purchase in Sephora, she is very skilled in her craft and she is unbelievably professional and just a true pleasure to work with every single time. She is also a perfectionist, so she is always touching you up, even when you think you look perfect, she makes you look even better.
She is so talented that she even was a requested to do make-​up for one of my best friend’s wedding parties that I was in — and everyone was beyond thrilled.
I cannot say enough good things about Dani. She is a true gem and a talented woman.
There is no doubt in my mind that she will be secured to be a famous actress’s personal make-​up artist in the future. I just hope she remembers the little people when she becomes famous :)

Dani was key hair and makeup artist for a commercial shoot I did. I LOVED the way my hair AND makeup came out — it appeared naturally beautiful on camera but I wasn’t washed out under the bright lights. She also did a beautiful job on the little girl who costarred with me — Again, Dani applied the makeup so naturally — and got rid of the circles under her eyes (the little girl’s mother was thrilled!). Also worth noting was Dani’s professionalism on set. She arrived early, was clearly skilled with hair and makeup, was very in tune with the look the client wanted, and watched the monitor through the entire shoot, making sure to rush over and do any necessary touch-​ups between takes. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and I hope to have her on set in the future!
