G-Knows Cheesesteaks

… tried The DeNiro and today — Chicken Bacon Ranch cheesesteak. i highly recommend both!
The DeNiro is a bit sloppy so have a fork handy. But worth it

My new favorite spot. Taste spot on like a legit cheesesteak from Philly. I’ve been to Genos and Pats and Tony Luke’s and this place is up there with them!

Great customer service. Allowed us to try the Mac & cheese balls before purchase. Amazing buffalo cheese steak and regular cheese steak. They make their own blue cheese dressing and hot sauce which is out of this world.

Was excited to see that this place opened, and even more excited to visit it today.
Pulled into the lot, the place smelled amazing.
Got in, ordered two cheesesteaks and one chicken cheesesteak with ranch and bacon, broccoli bites, and two fries with wiz.
Breaking down the cheesesteaks, the bread looks dense, however, is easily one of the lightest breads I’ve ever had on any sandwich, period, yet held together through the entire sandwich from beginning to end. Crusty, light, perfect.
The steak used is definitely seasoned, but it almost tastes like it’s seasoned with more steak. It’s beefy, moist, and while it looked a bit small compared to the bread, the two go perfectly together. Any more would have been overkill, any less an injustice to the bread.
Let’s talk wiz. Wiz, whiz, or cheese sauce always has that twinge of synthetic taste to it. Whether out of a jar, or Roll n Roaster, it’s the same underlying flavor.
Absolutely not here. It’s just the right cheese flavor, but when mixed with the beef, it really comes into its own.
Chicken cheesesteak was moist, just enough ranch and bacon to make it all come together on that same delicious bread.
Fries are fries. They’re not breaking the mold here, but who needs to when they’re slathered with that wiz.
Broccoli bites were delicious. I’m not sure if they order out, make their own or what, but they’re chunks of broccoli wih what tastes like the same wiz. Excellent.
Staff and someone who seemed to be the owner were super friendly. The place delivers, and the food was hot and fresh made on the spot.
Don’t miss out on this little gem here, I’m definitely going to be a regular.

My Coworkers picked me up cheesesteaks here and brought them to my job. It was full of meat, they did not skimp out at all. You could probably share one sandwich with another person. The Italian bread was really good too. Fresh crunchy and soft on the inside. This was better than the ones I get in Philly.

I had the Special cheese steak. It was very good. Large sandwich. I ate it all. I will come here again. And I see they are doing very well considering the amount of people ordering.

Well I’m just leaving gknows right now and all I have to say is WOW. This is by far an awesome place with amazing different sandwiches. The DeNiro is a steak to die for. The flavor was insane and very addicting. Best appetizers in Staten Island. The rice balls are definitely Italian rice balls because you can’t find rice balls like this. Staff was extremely friendly and knows there product.

I just had my first cheesesteak from this gem and all I can say is WOW. G-​knows combines the perfect blend of bread and meat so that you can appreciate both which is unique because with every other cheesesteak I’ve ever had one ALWAYS overpowers the other. That doesn’t happen with this cheesesteak and there’s not a drop of grease either. This place is authentic. I highly recommend it to anyone that loves good food as this place is going to be the next big thing on Staten Island.

My second time eating here. Had the Frankie Boy and the Buffalo Chicken cheesesteak… fantastic! Had wings and french fries, also very good. The owners are very friendly and the place was very clean. Happy to have a new good place in the neighborhood!

Driving through Staten Island today, was starving, saw the sign and decided to give it a shot. Was I glad I did. Little did I know that it was their grand opening. I ordered the the simple cheesesteak. Quite possibly the best cheesesteak sandwich I ever ate. Friendly staff and very clean place to boot! Check it out — you won’t be disappointed!

I highly recommend this place as having to be the best cheesesteak place in the Island. I had the chicken cheesesteak, the meat was very juicy with no sign of dryness. Service is quick and staff is very friendly. I definitely will come back to try something else on the menu.

Amazing food!!! I ordered the buffalo chicken hero and it was delicious! Staff was extremely friendly and the place was very clean. I would highly recommend it !!!
