Healthy Smiles of Staten Island

I have been going to the same dentist for 20+ years since I was a kid and about 2 years ago I decided to switch. I randomly found this dentist on google and figured I’d give it a shot since it is right by my house. Boy did I get lucky finding such a great dentist on my first shot. The office is clean, staff is super friendly, I didn’t have to wait at all, the hygienist took her time with my cleaning and was very sweet. The dentist had a great personality. He actually told me I had two cavities developing and they didn’t necessarily need a filling but being that I was about to lose my dental insurance he slightly filled them for me so that they didn’t develop into anything while I was uninsured. I’m also a bit of a chicken and him and his assistant were so patient with me it was unreal. Now I have new insurance and unfortunately they don’t accept it :(I did recommend my whole family to them though and they love him just as much as I do. I also recently referred a friend for Invisalign and I got a letter from the dental office thanking me and they sent me two free movie tickets. I thought that was so nice especially since I am not even technically a patient anymore. Anyways, I can’t say enough good things about this office. If you’re looking for a new dentist definitely try him (you can book on zocdoc too!) even if you’re not from the general area, it’s worth the drive!

I went to have my wisdom teeth removed from an oral surgeon on Staten Island and experienced problems with the healing of my gums. After speaking to the oral surgeon AND my dentist, both refused to see me (the oral surgeon said that I can come in between 8am and 10am on a Wednesday but there would be no guarantee that I would be seen). Dr. Squatrito was the only dentist who agreed to see me for my for my pain. He examined the wound and after numbing and irrigating the wound he found bone fragment and dead tissue, he then proceeded to clean and stitch the wound closed. He was by far the best choice to have this situation taken care of. If given the choice again I would not hesitate going to his office and have happily recommended him to several of my friends.

Office is clean and modern. Staff is friendly and works around my busy schedule. Flat Screen TV’s in both the patient rooms and the waiting area. I moved into Manhattan half way through my invisalign treatment and never have a problem getting night and/​or weekend appointments and now my teeth are straighter and whiter then ever! Dr. Squatrito even made adjustments free of charge during the invisalign treatment when he noticed that it wasn’t going exactly how he wanted it. He genuinely wants his patients to be happy. Highly recommended.
