Lacey’s Bridge Tavern

Came here after being told by a few people how amazing this place was. Well it was definitely great!
There didn’t appear to be any parking lot for this location. However there is a lot of street parking available in this area. Definitely keep an eye out for the restaurant, I have been past it many times and never even noticed it!
When you first walk in there is a bar. When we walked it there appeared to be regulars there which I always like, I feel like it makes a place feel more comfortable, I mean they gotta keep coming back for a reason right? Anyways, walk straight through and the sitting area is in the back. It’s very small and the décor is old school but it feels right. Like it works for the location and feels cozy.
We ordered mozzarella sticks (ehh, tastes like any other diner), oysters (I don’t eat seafood, if you have read any of my other posts then you know I am truly a picky eater lol but my husband said the oysters were great!), baked clams (once again eaten by my husband, said they were good) chicken Gabriella (amazing!!!) and Belgium waffle with vanillas ice cream (really good, only complaint is it didn’t say they drizzled chocolate syrup on it, would have asked for with out because I am not a big chocolate fan, see picky eater!) all of this was served family style. We had so much food left over it was crazy. But so good! They do allow you to bring the rest home (I have been to a family style place that did not.. .).
The wait staff was really good even with them being overwhelmed with large parties for the holiday. We enjoyed this place very much and have already made plans to return!

Love this place! Always a great experience. Great seafood, bar and staff. I have been going there for years and have always consistent.

When i was brought here by someone, i didn’t think I was going to enjoy my meal. I rolled my eyes and proceeded to walk though the bar to a back room, that is pretty small. However, they sure did pack it in there as i sat looking over the menu. We shared our family style dinner and i must say it was delish! So delish i have been back there 3x since, bringing more people to enjoy the food. I haven’t been disappointed yet from the food! However, my only negative gripe i have with this place is the soda! Really use coca cola products, especially since you charge for refills. I know places cut corners but come on.

Great Experience! Always a pleasure, service is great and meals are super affordable, big portions to share :) we always go to the Sunday Brunch and price is unbelievable, you get complementary drinks with your brunch meal !!! A Must Try !!!

I must respond to Anjelica’s post… I also had a reservation on Mother’s Day and you would have to be very naïve to expect not to wait. Lacey’s is consistently delicious with great service. While we did wait. .it was worth it! !

I’ve been to the Bridge many times and every time I go it is so enjoyable! Such a relaxed atmosphere, amazing service and of course amazing food. The brunch is the best too! Live music, bottomless drinks from 12 – 3 and awesome food! I recommend it to everyone! When my
Family comes to visit from SC, the always ask to go back to the bridge. Definitely check it out!

My family and I were regular customers until one night we waited 2 hours for our food. I know the owner Chris so I spoke with him. He did not even offer us any type of compensation. Kids were all getting restless too. Of course we spent a ton of money on drinks while we waited. You would think they would at least buy a round of sodas for the kids. Nothing… After 10 years I will not be going back anymore nor my family. I will go some place were my business is appreciated. There are a ton of places on Staten Island to eat. What a cheapo this guy is!

Food and service is usually great but had made a reservation on Mother’s Day for 6 didn’t get seated until 730 and was seated in bar area. Within the first 5 minutes of sitting I got a drink spilled over me onto my arm from someone passing and bumped into 3 times. Even though I love their food I will never go back after how the staff handled the situation that day.

Celebrated my birthday meal with my family. The service was superb. The meal well seasoned hot and fresh. Huge portions. .hot wings were awesome. We had sangria. Very delicious. The fruit pieces could have been larger but no complaints. You will definitely be taking food home. Excellent choice.

Delicious delicious delicious! It’s a hidden gem! Wish the place was more roomy but I don’t mind the food is amazing. My family loves this place. We celebrate a lot of birthdays and stuff here. The service is always great and the food never ever disappoints. The Cajun chicken and pasta is my favorite. The Asian sesame wings are out of this world as well as their pierogies. Everything I’ve ever had is great and I’m a hard person to please. We always do the family style menu so everyone can taste everything.

Great spot. Very nice people. Cool neighborhood place. Had the Blackened Burger with bacon and blue cheese. Absolutely great. And had their Perogies with onions and sour cream. Wow. Now have to go back and try the Chix Gabrielle. Apparently it’s a must have. So far this place is A+. TBC…

Excellent old school Staten Island restaurant that offers a large menu of mostly Italian specialties that is served family style. The décor is a little dated and there is only street parking, but the food will not disappoint. The atmosphere is also great.

I’ve only come here for brunch but it’s so worth the drive since I live on the other side of the island! Brunch is amazing! bottomless brunch cocktails make it even better. Food is generous in portion and tastes great. I love their eggs Benedict and their white sangria you can easily knock a few back while chatting with friends or catching the game. I prefer sitting at the bar the atmosphere is great. Flank steak and eggs, stuffed French toast and the eggs Benedict are the go to meals to try. every mea is under 25.00 and unlimited drinks! must try you’ll definitely go back whenever you can. Downside place is small
so if you wait for a table you may wait a bit as nobody likes to rush brunch lol.

Absolutely love this restaurant! From the food to the staff. You can’t go wrong with anything there menu. The Chicken Gabrielle is my all time favorite!

I’m always satisfied with the taste of the food. I’ve eaten in a few times but have ordered for parties and family occasions being that the portions are family style.. I recommend the steak and mashed potatoes, the steak is soft and the potatoes have thinly cut fried onions which give it a nice touch. Also if you’re craving a dessert to share this is a great place for that they are all great.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The family portions are legit and their quality has never disappointed me. The buffalo wings are my favorite on the island and their homemade blue cheese dressing is a great compliment to the wings. We always have trouble choosing between our favorite dishes because everything is fantastic. Their homemade kielbasa is so good.
Coming home from our honeymoon we had the limo stop so we could pick up calamari and wings to bring home. It was a great idea.
My only complaint is that I don’t live closer…

The service is some of the best I’ve ever experienced. A nice beer selection complements the appetizers nicely. Come hungry because when they say family size they mean it. Quality is in no way lowered by quantity though. It’s one of Staten Island’s best kept secrets. CHECK IT OUT!

I heard so many good things about Lacey’s & glad I finally got to go. We were a group of 10 and had the asian wings, cold antipasto, chicken gabriella, bbq flank steak and eggplant rollatini. Everything was family style & of course even though we were all full, we had room for dessert. We got the warm cookie special & brownie sundae! The chicken gabriella & the bbq flank steak were my favorite. I was dreaming about it after I left. Service was great & we didn’t ahev to wait. Everything was delicious! I will definitely be returning.

Food here is amazing. Best Staten Island food ever I believe. A hole in the wall restaurant/​bar, but food was beyond delicious. The mussel sauce was superb. I’d definitely be back.

This place basically saved my relationship.(good save Laceys!) Food was delicious with large portions. We got penne vodka half portion and chicken wings. Perfection. The service was so kind and attentive to our needs. And best of all the price was so good. New favorite place.
My only regret… No room for dessert =(
