We also specialize in dry cleaning beaded gowns, leather and suede, drapes, comforters, and bedspreads. We have a European tailor on premise 6 days a week for alterations. Our tailor has over 40 years experience. We perform every type of alterations on gowns, suits, pants, blouses, shirts, and dresses.
We can put back the original hem on your designer jeans. We also clean Uggs.
History
Established in 1963.
Mario Lepore came to the United Stated from Italy in 1950. Like his father he was a tailor. In 1963 he opened his first dry cleaner in Brooklyn. He built up his business with his hard worth ethic. He soon became very successful. He tailoring skills were beyond compare, and he never turned away a customer. In 1979 he moved his business to New Dorp Lane in Staten Island. His business quickly began to thrive. Soon his wife and 3 children came to work at the business as well. Today Mario’s daughter Elena still continues to run the business the way her father did. And that is to make the customer happy. Customers are so satisfied they have been coming back for over 30 years. Customers have even followed us from Brooklyn.
