Business Owner

Dr. Shakin is a gentle, caring dentist who uses only the most advanced materials & procedures available. He practices comfortable, health-​centered dentistry with a strong emphasis on getting to know each patient. In addition to his technical proficiency, Dr. Shakin is a careful listener & will explain beforehand which treatment is best for your individual needs.

After earning his bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University, Dr. Shakin received his doctorate from Northwestern University. He has since taken many continuing education courses, including those in advanced reconstructive dentistry, implant dentistry & cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Shakin is a member of the New York State Dental Association & the American Dental Association.
