A quaint little place. They have a great selection and it’s nice to be able to peek into the back to see the factory part of the establishment.

I’ve not visited the store but my mother in law got me and my wife a big selection of chocolates from this place for easter. I grew up in Western Europe, on Dutch, German, Swiss and French chocolate. REAL chocolate. Most«chocolate» in the US is not actual chocolate. The fine print on the packaging will actually say«chocolate flavored candy». Hersey’s is mostly filler and chemicals. It’s a travesty that that became a standard here. The only chocolate I buy in the US that is true chocolate and affordable is the bright pink Swiss Chocolate bars from Trader Joes(which is imported from Switzerland). However, the chocolate from Supreme Chocolatier blew my mind at the first bite. Real deal chocolate! No mystery ingredients. Tastes the way chocolate should taste, and the way chocolate tastes in Europe. I’m going to have to go visit the store and stock up soon.

I went in to get a gift for someone but I’m not much of a chocolate lover myself(translate that how you wish lol). The shop though a little festive with a few flags isn’t what I expected. See, I confused chocolate with candy = children. I almost expected a fun-park atmosphere. Lol. Being there reminded me of being in a library sort of. It was very quiet and mausoleum like before the sales attendant approached me. The store is huge. The shelves are neatly and expertly stacked and I was a bit afraid of touching the products. Here and there I noticed plaques with some history of the store/brand and chocolate. The two saleswomen were pleasantly chatty with me as I their only customer perused the aisles. I saw a wide assortment but like I said I’m not a chocolate connoisseur so I didn’t know what the hell I was looking for except that chocolate is supposed to be a sexy gift for someone who likes it. As expected, it’s a bit pricey so my tip is if you have cadbury/lindt pockets please come prepared to browse and smile. I did The End.

I have not visited Supreme Chocolatier but I have had an experience ordering from them through their website. I am planning an 85th birthday party with a theme. One of the major points of this party was a specific candy that is hard to find. As luck would have it Supreme Chocolatier had the exact brand of candy that we needed. I ordered candy at the end of July and thought I would have plenty of time to receive it(three weeks). After 2 weeks I sent them a message asking about my order as I hadn’t received it. The reply I got back was terse and telling me that they had emailed me regarding the order telling me that the company that makes the chocolates would not begin production again until September. I never received that email. I think it’s possible that it ended up in my spam folder. Why am I writing a negative review? Well, I would have expected a phone call follow up when they didn’t get a reply from me after two weeks. Now, I am throwing a party and I don’t even have one of the key items for it. I am so disappointed in Supreme Chocolatiers, their terse customer service, their lack of follow up and their lack of care. I won’t be buying from them again even of they have the candy I need. Two starts because they do have a great selection, if you’re even able to get what you order
