Terrible service. The woman at the front desk was rude and unorganized. They cut my dog and didn’t even follow-​up to see if she was okay. A little over priced, $ 55 for a 6lb dog. Smelt like wet dog.

I’m sorry Michele V. that you had a bad experience. I’ve been taking my shih-​tzu to The Dog Salon for at least 5 years now, followed them from when they were Fancy Feet, and I must say, they are one of the best groomers I’ve had. Before I went to The Dog Salon, I’d tried several other groomers and I had such bad experiences, to the point that one groomer cut one of the nails so short that her paw was bleeding. They are priced a little higher than the other 3 I used in the past, but they are definitely worth the price. All the workers there are friendly, the place is clean, and they are great with the pets as far as I’ve seen! Not only that, but my dog, who is usually very nervous about going to the groomer, is actually relaxed once she sees her groomer.

One star is all they are getting and that was for cleanliness other then I was disappointed. First off the women who greeted me acted as receptionist and also a groomer wasn’t pleasant at all just a miserable women, I should have walked out but I didn’t.. I paid $ 55.00 plus tip which is way over priced for a dog weighing less then 10 pounds. At pick up «which I had to call them to find out if my dog was ready
1 ½ later» My dog came out with no bows no hankie for the neck which I was told she was getting and was included. I came home I examined her and her some of her nails weren’t cut. Then to put the icing on the cake I was told they had to muzzle my dog because she bites. Maybe if the women who groomed her was an actual animal lover my dog would have behaved. The woman saw my dog was nervous which I also stated as well. My biggest regret was not getting her name because the other women that were working in there were smiling and were nice!!! DO NOT TAKE UR LITTLE BABIES THERE! I always groom at PAWS ON ARTHUR KILL RD. Just wanted to try some place closer to home. HUGE MISTAKE!!!
