Tuxedo World is a family owned men’s formalwear specialty store. Our main service is tuxedo rentals. We also sell tuxedos, formalwear accessories, and formalwear uniforms for work. We are unique because we are the only formalwear shop in Staten Island that can provide same day service for tuxedo rentals. We own our inventory and don’t have to outsource. We are able to make sure our garments are new and in great shape. A tailor is on the premise to do any last minute alterations. At Tuxedo World we strive for a great customer experience. We offer some of the latest styles and top quality tuxedos the industry has to offer.

Established in 1989.

Tuxedo World opened its doors in 1989. We have been in the area for almost 27 years.

The service was amazing! I had an important family event and these guys helped to me style every detail. The hair cut was really cool. Shirt and suit were designed to build the most glamour and serious look I ever had in my life. All family and friends were asking what happened with me? :))

Great service! I love the family-​owned vibe. I didn’t have any issues with my rental, but if I did knowing there is a full service tailor on the premises (in addition to the fact that Tuxedo World keeps their stock in the store) put me at ease about any last minute changes or fixes.

I have been renting tuxedo’s from Tuxedo World for years. I have never been disappointed. Their service and understanding of how a tuxedo is suppose to fit is unsurpassed. I recently rented a tux from them for a black and white event in Manhattan and not only did it fit right, the owner gave me all new inventory. The best part was during the event and when I was walking around the city, I received so many compliments from random people. I look forward to a future event that requires me to wear a tux because I will definitely be back to Tuxedo World!
