Walgreens

Came in to buy some odds and ends and cashier was probably one if the worst Walgreens corporate could have representing their store. Looking at you peroxide bleach blonde goth chick with thick black glass and facial piercings. I didn’t have my Walgreen card so I asked if I could give her my phone number and she ROLLS HER EYES! Oh I’m sorry but that’s your job and then she continued to ring up my items for purchase, rolling her eyes, and has the worst snarky tone and attitude. Yo chick, if you’re so miserable go restock items in the store that’s so unorganized so you don’t have to deal with people or get another job or hit up some zoloft in the pharmacy. Worst Walgreens location by far! Head to the cvs down the block instead…

Walgreen’s does sometimes have good deals when they’re running a sale. However, half the time the sale items featured on their weekly flyers are not available… I’m sure they had initially had a couple of whatever on the shelves, but it just feels like a ploy to get you into the store.
That’s not my main complaint however — the main issue is the pharmacy prices. This is the second time we’ve run into this. The first time, the prescription we took to Walgreen’s was around $ 300.00. There was no way we could afford that. We took the same scrip to Target — and the cost was $ 30. (Yes, ONE TENTH OF THE PRICE.)
I should have learned right then and there, but when we needed to pick up a very basic antibiotic, I assumed they couldn’t be such a rip-​off. I should’ve known when the pharmacist asked for my insurance card, and acted really surprised that I was going to buy something without one, that there was going to be an issue.
Yep. They wanted $ 40. for the prescription. We went to the mom-​and-​pop pharmacy down the block from my house, and paid less than $ 20. Yes, the independent store cut the prices of the big chain In Half.
Seriously… you have to admit something is wrong with our health care system when crap like this can be allowed to happen. Anyways, I won’t be taking any more prescriptions to Walgreens.
