Meet the Business Owner

Valerie Bruce S.

Business Owner

Valerie moved to Steamboat in 2000 from Los Angeles after studying art and business at the University Of California at Santa Barbara. With over 10 years of residential and commercial interior design projects in Colorado, she returned to school in 2013 to complete her masters degree in Interior Design while studying in Florence, Italy. As a student of the great masters, she believes in marrying the knowledge of the past with the materials and needs of today to create timeless looks infused with modern lighting, harmonious colors and rich fabrics.

Bruce moved from Connecticut and New York to settle in Steamboat Springs in the 70’s. He quickly moved into real estate development and interior design. He owned Steamboat Floral for over 10 years and started a home furnishings and accessories business for 15 years following that. With his extensive knowledge of both commercial and residential design, Bruce offers creative solution engineering, vision and a fresh take on the everyday.
