Alpha Taxi & Airport Shuttle

Do not use this taxi service. From the time I got into the into the car to the time I was dropped off was the worst taxi experience I have ever encountered. On Saturday the 17^th I was picked and the driver went the opposite way of my destination which he covered up okay and said he wouldn’t charge me for the time wasted. Okay great I’m fine with that first mistake. This is where it gets bad I was in the back seat when he took a call to pick someone else up. Once he got off the phone he looked back at me and said f***ing N*******. When he said it I was like that is not okay. When I called the driver out for his Racal slur he acted as if it were no big deal. I won’t include what happen after that but he ended up striking me and taking my glasses off my face leaving a cut above my eye. This cannot happen in 2014. I feel sorry for the driver and taxi cab service for the their beliefs.

The guy who picked me up was on time which was a great start. He was driving me to the car rental to pick up my vehicle. Upon arrival to the car rental, I discovered that I didn’t have my driver’s license. I asked him to take me back home and he did. He saw how upset I was and he told me that he would wait for me to locate my license. He waited for me and drove me back. He did not charge me the extra wait… he treated it as if I didn’t need to go back home. This is a new company, perhaps even a one-​person company so making money is understandably a primary goal. However, what I experienced was different. The guy didn’t take advantage of the situation and charge me extra. It says a lot about them.
The only reason I’m not giving it a 5 stars is because the car smelled like it’s a smoker’s car and I had to roll my window down to get «fresh» air.

Completely unreliable and unprofessional, never even showed up after the time for the cab’s arrival had been confirmed. I was informed after that Alpha did not have a car available so a different company would be providing service but no one at Alpha called to let us know this information. It shouldn’t be so difficult. I would never recommend using this company.
