Awesome Chicken Shawarma! There is a man that works there that is always smiling and such a great server, I wish I knew his name.

THISPLACEBLEWMYFREAKIN’ MIND. Hated raw kibbeh before I tried it there, and holy hell, was it good. A little on the expensive side, but I’d say it’s worth it.

EXCELLENTFOOD, EXCELLENTPRICES! Best fattoush salad and kibbeh nayeh(raw kibbeh) I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot of Lebanese cuisine. Everything was fresh and tasty. These are the same guys as the Beirut Palace when it was in downtown Royal Oak… but they have gotten better. It’s in a strip mall but don’t let that deter you. It’s excellent!

This restaurant is SCAM. They charged us $ 201 for one plate and they said it was a mistake and will refund us but they did not. The cashier did not apologize instead he gave us a silly smile blaming the registering machine. We called the bank to dispute the transaction. This is Totally scam do not go there.

Normally I go to the Kabob Hut in the strip mall next door to the Beirut Palace but they were closed when I called last night. I decided to give their neighbor a try and I couldn’t believe the difference. I always get the fattoush salad at Kabob Hut so to do a comparison I ordered the same thing from the Beirut Palace and it was disappointing. First, I will never understand a carryout place putting salad dressing on the salad and not on the side. It ruins the whole thing by the time you get it home. Right there, I was unhappy. When I unwrapped everything else, what little there was, it was clear that they are not even in competition with Kabob Hut. There was a tiny container of chicken, about a 1⁄3 of the portion KH gives. No garlic sauce and it needed it. Lots of lettuce that was wilted from sitting in dressing until I got it home. The baklava was good and a large piece but not enough to make me want to try them again. It’s back to the Kabob Hut for me, I’ll make sure to get their hours right next time as this was a waste of money.

*comparison review to kabob hut* Figured I would give the kabob huts competitor a ride for lunch today since the kabob hut had a long wait for carry out. Walked in and was promptly greeted. Dining room had 3 people in it. Placed and order for the lunch fatoosh salad with chicken. First thing I noticed was price, they cost more than the carry out place in the plaza right next to them. Second they«shave» the chicken off the rotating skewer. Not the same as fresh chicken breast grilled at kabob hut. The salad was fully of cuckes, tomatoes, peppers and lettuce. Chicken was dry. Carry out container was the 3 portion tray with a salad thrown in so eating was awkward. I know this sounds like I’m picking it apart but they have some serious competition in the strip next to them in kabob hut. Maybe they should see what they are doing right and try to replicate it. Otherwise store was clean. Also had the smoothie which was great!

Great food and reasonably priced. Do yourself a favor and order the lamb shank if it’s on special, wow!
