Dr. Palmer attended undergraduate school at Michigan State University. After graduation he attended Wayne State University, earning a Masters Degree in Biochemistry. Upon completing this graduate work, he attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. At the completion of Dental School, he continued his studies at Case Western Reserve Graduate School, Department of Orthodontics. He received the American Association of Orthodontists research award for his Orthodontic Masters thesis in Facial Growth. He entered into private practice in 1977 in Troy, Michigan. Dr. Palmer in addition to private practice was an adjunct professor with Wayne State University Medical School, Department of Oral Surgery. He is currently an adjunct Professor of Orthodontics at the University Of Michigan.
