Established in 2009.

Right Way Home Services was founded with the belief that home improvement companies should treat their customers better. To this date, we continue to offer the highest standards of quality in customer services and installation in Southeastern Michigan.

I was only fifteen years old when I worked my first construction job. Times were very tough; my mom was going through cancer and I had to support the family. My mother fought and fought. Unfortunately cancer won the war on February 19th, 2007. Rest in peace, mom. I love you.

Hard times could never keep my brother Nick or myself down. Over the years, we had started to see how other home improvement companies marketed, sold and installed their jobs and we felt that only ten percent of the companies did exactly what they said they were going to do. After working for various companies, we both decided to make a difference in the home improvement industry.

We founded Right Way on February 19th, 2009. It was exactly two years since our mother Phyllis passed away. As my brother and I grew up in a driven atmosphere, our mom inspired us to set, reach and accomplish our goals and that’s exactly what we bring to the table in this competitive market. We present to you Right Way Home Services.

We talked to the Right Way people at the Novi home show in the spring and set up an appointment for them to come out and give us an estimate on replacing our front and back storm doors. They called a few days before they were to come out and said they had ot reschedule because they were getting a new product line and wouldn’t be able to provide a proper consultation.
On the day they were supposed to come out for the re-​scheduled appointment they never showed. 2 hours after they were supposed to come we called and they said someone would be there later in the day. We didn’t plan for that time and told them cancel. Since then they have called us 4 times asking the schedule a time to come out. Each time we have asked them to stop calling us. This morning was the 4th call. Even after I told the woman on the phone that we have already replaced our doors, she kept trying to sell. «We’ll give 15% off». I don’t want 15% off, I want you stop calling! The woman wouldn’t let up, no matter how many times I told her we weren’t interested and to stop caling she just kept going. I eventually had to hang up on her.
They may provide good work at decent prices, I have no idea. But I would never reccomend them to anyone after the experience we’ve had.

So I will start this review by saying I have not yet hired someone to do my roof. I had Right Way out for an estimate. I still may go with them depending on other estimates, and depending on the rest of the process I may update my review.
I had a sales person out yesterday and it was a terrible experience. The sales person was pushy and rude, and wouldn’t take «I’m not ready to sign this instant» as a response. He eventually left, taking all of the paperwork he had given me about the company with him. He was angry and rude, that is no way to do business, especially when someone has said they need some time to think about it. Would you but a roof on the spot without any thought? I hope not!
That being said, if you are going to go with them, MAKE SURE YOU BARGAIN WITH THEM! In the hour long process of me saying repeatedly «No matter what I am not signing today,» the guy came down from $ 6,788 to $ 4,073, but only if I signed RIGHT THEN. That’s a heck of a difference! I really liked what he said about the company, the product, and they have mostly good reviews. Had it not been for this awful salesman they would almost be guaranteed my business. Now I’m going to do quite a bit of digging before I decide whether or not to go with them. Make sure you go in with your eyes open and don’t let anyone pressure you into anything!
Today I got a really nice call from the company, asking how the sales call went. I explained everything. They agreed to give me the price he offered AND time to think about it. The whole process seems kind of shady, for a company with such great reviews. So I have a great deal to think about. Just make sure you do your research! And know that if you aren’t comfortable with the sales person there are others at the company who are better to deal with!

We had them do a complete tear off and instal a new roof. We had a few hiccups along the way but they did make it right in the end so I’m happy.
My only advice would be to get other quotes so they match the price. We got several quotes and most used cheaper materials which made the prices a lot lower. I’m talking ½ the price. Know what materials you want and get other quotes that are equal to what they provide. If someone else does it cheaper they will match it. By doing that we saved a few thousand dollars. They do have the best guaranty for a roof that I gave ever seen and the workers did a awesome job.
