Dr. Schwartz followed in his father’s footsteps and graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry, Magna Cum Laude. He performed internships at the Southern Arizona Veterans Administration in Sierra Vista Arizona, Cedars-​Sinai Medical Group in Beverly Hills California, and with the Indian Health Service at Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital in Sacatan Arizona.

These internships concentrated in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. He also worked heavily in contact lens fitting, including specialty fits for orthokeratology, kerataconus and pelucid marginal degeneration.

I have used Lens Crafters (before that DOC) for years and years, but I have new insurance couldn’t go there. I tried Dr. Schwartz because the office is very close by. The only reasons I have to give 4 stars instead of 5, is that the wait time for glasses is about two weeks, and contacts are very expensive. The service is excellent, and the information and examination is offered in a friendly manner. The people are very nice. I would recommend trying the out.
