Sycamore Property Management

I joined Unilocal for the purpose of rating this company. I would give zero stars if that was an option.
In January 2015 This company took approximately $ 12,000 of my money to do repairs on a home they were managing for me in Detroit, and has refused to communicate with me in any way. They will not confirm if the repairs have been done, let me know condition of the home, if it can be rented… Nothing. Won’t return email, phone calls, etc…
I am an out of state owner, so that is what I have them for: manage the property. I have now been without any word or income on this property for 8 months now, and have had to turn to the attorney general, BBB, local police, etc… to try and get resolution. I guess it may be time for lawyers…
I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable property management company. I honestly don’t know how they are not in jail.

I have since January 2015 been requesting that they pay us the rental payments that they have collected for us. It is now June 2015 and they STILL have not paid us over $ 5000.00 in rental payments that they have that belong to us. DO NOT HIRE this company to manage your rental properties especially if you are an out of state owner. They do not return phone calls or emails and you only get a switch board and the admin. assistant screens calls and transfers you directly to voicemail. They are a sham run don’t hire them. They keep blowing you off if you try to get a payment saying next week, next week, basically they are telling you what you want to hear but never giving you the $ owed to you.
