I needed a new fence after someone fell asleep at the wheel and drove thru mine, which lined the backyard against a main road. I called a few different companies to come over and provide estimates. All of the companies came within a few hundred dollars of each other, so it was tough to choose. I ended up going with DJ Fence because Lorenzo was friendly and informative from the moment he arrived to do the estimate. He came prepared by having wood samples and fence posts in his truck. He explained how he completed multiple fence projects in the past few months at homes just a couple miles from me. I checked out some of those projects, and they were beautiful. Lorenzo was very flexible with me because as part of the fence project, I wanted to remove multiple trees after taking down the old fence, but before installing the new fence. Not only that, all of this work was scheduled to occur the week of Thanksgiving and the week after it. Lorenzo and his team came out on what I thought was the coldest and most windy day of the year. They started around 8 am, and they had the entire fence (175 feet long) installed by 5 pm. I couldn’t believe they worked like that! The end result is a beautiful fence that makes my yard look so much nicer.

We had a great experience with this company. They were fast, clean, and did a great job putting the fence up. He is knowledgeable about rules and guidelines for the fences. We highly recommend them.

We used DJ Fence for a privacy fence at our home. My husband and I were very pleased! They were very professional, efficient and honest. We received 5 quotes from area fence specialists and DJ Fence was also the most economical. I had a sick child at the doctors office with pneumonia and the owner was so nice to move ahead and take the specs for our quote even though I wasn’t able to be there. We would highly recommend this company for fence installation.

We just had a full fence installation including an internal privacy wall. Lorenzo works very hard to please customers and beats everyone else’s prices. He’s very prompt and attentive, where two other companies wouldn’t even call me back even though we had money burning a hole in our pockets! The work is top quality, and many people are asking me for his number.
Edit: This guy came back, replaced two warped boards, and compacted two posts, on his own without me asking. You just don’t get service like that anymore! Perfectionist.

My estimate was reasonable and Lorenzo made sure to explain everything the job entailed. They took down my old fence and put the new one up in one day. I couldn’t ask for a nicer fence in my yard.

Lorenzo and his team gave us a fair price for our backyard fence. They removed and hauled away our old decrepit privacy fence and installed a new one in a couple of days. They worked long hours and did an amazing job! Lorenzo is very responsive to phone calls and emails all while working side by side leading his team. Highly reccomend these guys. Quality work at reasonable prices.

DJ Fence installed a 6′ privacy fence around my yard. Since I have a half-​acre I needed to complete the project half at a time. They removed half of the old chain link fence an installed the new fence, then came back the next year and repeated the process for the second half.
On both occasions Lorenzo and his crew were great to work with. On time, neat and tidy, cleaned up everything and went the extra mile to make sure I was happy. I have dogs so he made sure to put the fence low so none of the dogs would be able to squeeze underneath.
Highly recommend. If I had to do it over, I would use Lorenzo and his crew again.

DJFence did our fence and deck at the estimated time and reasonable price, they removed my old deck quickly, Lorenzo listen to our needs and suggested some modifications to build the new deck that suit our needs. I can’t say enough about how pleased I am with DJ Fence all around.
They were the first company to make it out to my house (next day) when I called about quotes. And out of 3 companies, they quoted me the best price — by $ 1,000. Seriously, do not contract with anyone else before you have talked to Lorenzo at DJ Fence. He will get you an outstanding price.
But don’t let the the price fool you. He’s just not gouging like many of the other companies who have good Unilocal ratings seem to be doing (comparable companies quoted me 30%+ higher prices, even after I gave them a chance to match). No, there’s no sacrifice in quality here. DJ Fence did an amazing job and built a beautiful, quality fence that will last for many years to come. They used the appropriate length runs, put in large, sturdy posts (and even sturdier ones next to the two nice gates they installed with great locking mechanisms). And even better, they were reliable and showed up during the times they said they would.
As far as timing goes, they took 20 minutes to come out and measure and provide a quote. Then when I called and gave them the job and a 50% deposit, they came out and took up my old fence all in one evening. The next day, the materials got delivered and some of the crew put markers in and laid out materials for a couple of hours. Then on the third day, the full crew showed up and worked from sunrise until dinner time and were able to essentially build the whole new fence in one day! Unfortunately, they had to work in the rain a little bit, but they just kept chugging along.
All of the workers and especially Lorenzo were extremely nice and courteous. They only left minimal debris behind and they even bundled up some brush and carried out front for trash pickup when they had to cut a small bush out of the way of the fence.
I’m very pleased that I chose DJ Fence and would encourage everyone out there to give them a chance before selecting your fence builder!!!

When I first contacted Lorenzo, I also contacted three other prominent fence builders in northern Virginia. Lorenzo was able to schedule time for an estimate the following day, and then showed up at the time he said he would. His estimate was extremely fair, and was more competitive than the quotes I received from two other contractors at that time (third contractor contacted me a week after I initially reached out, and the fence was already built). Based on his punctuality and estimate, I awarded the work to Lorenzo.
He contacted Miss Utility after I agreed to his estimate, and then started the fence at 8am on the following Saturday with 2 additional workers. The wood he used was premium grade — all straight pressure treated wood, matching exactly the style guidelines set per my HOA. He was done by 1pm. I checked every post after the work was done and confirmed they were all plumb.

We contracted Lorenzo, the owner of DJ Fence to put a 6′ privacy fence around our house in Leesburg, VA. last year. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience: Lorenzo gave us a fair and detailed price quote, and was flexible enough to accommodate our last minute requests for change in the plan during the installation. He did a perfect job removing several existing sections, and installing the fence including two double gates in the front. His team performed efficiently, precisely, and did a very clean job so that at the end of a long day we were left with a very good looking fence and no debris or scraps.
Lorenzo was also very responsive and professional when we needed some minor fixing after the initial installation.

Lorenzo and his team did a great job creating a privacy fence over uneven ground and worked diligently to achieve my vision of a beautiful but functionally private fence; even merged a picket fence with neighbors existing fence to achieve esthetically pleasing result for all! Lorenzo and his team did excellent work building a privacy and split rail fence around my yard. He arrived on time (actually early!) to give us an estimate, and always answered my calls and text promptly. His craftsmanship and eye for detail is evident in the good work he does, and his prices are very reasonable. The morning of the build he walked us through exactly what and where he was building a final time before the post holes were dug. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fencing contractor, and would definitely use him again should I need any more fencing.

I had been looking at Mr. Lorenzo DeMargo’s ad from Craigslist to do my fence because his previous customers had written very good referrals. I didn’t realized that DJ Fence is the name of his Company. On April 1, 2014 Lorenzo came to my house and I agreed with his estimate to do one side of fence which was in disrepair on my property and the replacement of 2 gates.
Lorenzo scheduled me to do the work the following Sunday (Apr 6). Lorenzo and his 2 men arrived and started early that morning; They systematically worked together and you can tell they knew what they were doing. My wife and I were very impressed with the outcome of our fence and new gates that were done by Lorenzo. Because of Lorenzo’s good quality of craftsmanship and good price, after 1 week on Apr 14, we decided to have Lorenzo do the back section of fence We are very satisfied with DJ Fences leading by Lorenzo and strongly recommend him to everyone. Lorenzo arrived early in the morning and custom built a fence along the front perimeter of our yard in Del Ray, Alexandria VA. He finished the job by 2 p m and the fence and gate were exactly what we wanted.
