Mona is a hair God! She works miracles with all my families different hair types. We always leave satisfied and beautiful!

Mona is fabulous! She dyed, cut, and curled my hair for my wedding and it was gorgeous! She listened to me carefully and the result was exactly what I wanted.

I have been to Solace 4 times since my first review. Mona is my gal, not only is she an amazing colorist and she listens to me about my hair and the styling of it. I moved to this area 18 months ago and went to two other salons before finding Mona. I would never think of going anywhere else or having anyone else do my hair. Not to mention Mona and the entire staff at the salon are warm and so nice. Pedia and Manis are great too! Don’t think twice about coming here… just do it!

Read the reviews online and went to see Tina. She did an amazing job! She took her time and made sure my nails were even and I was happy with the end result. I will be going back and recommend Tina.

Took my mom in for a Mother’s Day/​birthday treat! They were AMAZING! My mom had Tina and got a spa gel manicure. Tina is incredible and my mom’s manicure looks awesome. I had Ren and got a gel manicure with paraffin. She is wonderful and my horrible cuticles and dry hands have been transformed! This spa is such a relaxing, beautiful perfect place with so many difference services available. The service was the best I’ve ever had (complimentary drinks, wine, champagne too). If you’re looking for a good place in the area you NEED to come here! It is a spa so the prices will be a little more expensive than your average nail salon, but I’m telling you… it is SO SO worth it.

I can’t say enough good things about Solace and the people who work here! First of all, I walked in less than a half hour before they closed thinking there’s no way they’ll start a pedicure now! They didn’t think twice! I never felt rushed at all! They gave me the 5 star treatment all the way, from the complimentary wine (YUM!!) to the heated neck pillow. My feet and I were well taken care of! And the entire staff (and even a customer I chatted with) was SUPER friendly and welcoming (and funny!). This place is everything I look for in a spa! I wish I lived here so I could go regularly! If I’m ever anywhere NEAR Sterling, VA again, you better believe I’ll be back! Worth every single penny!

I was given a gift card for a hot cream mani & pedi for my birthday and it was such a lovely surprise. This spa offers a very calming environment and the options are extensive.
There is a large selection of regular and gel nail colors that are well organized for easy decision making.
Upon sitting down at the pedicure chair, I was offered a beverage — they offer wine, soft drinks, and more — and quickly the relaxation started.
Joanna moved quickly but not rushed and provided me a wonderful pedicure. I also received a manicure with my gift card and upgraded to a gel mani instead. The spa was happy to accommodate this change and I’m very happy with the the results.
I would absolutely recommend this spa for their nail services.

I have been to salons in San Fran, Dallas, VA Nails in Sterling and Rain, Radiance and Joy in Ashburn. None compare to this place. Odd location, but I love it. Mona awesome for hair and color. Linn, Tina for gel nails and spa pedicures. However, if you want the best hand/​foot massage, ask for Cherry. Well run shop, clean, friendly and they know what they are doing. However, what one person likes in manicures/​pedicures may not be what another person prefers; but I would check this one out.

Two visits, both lovely.
I’ve come for a massage and for a pedicure. Both were excellent. Very relaxing. Great chairs. Complimentary drink (champagne in my case).

If I could give the spa a — star I would. After getting my nails done Christmas Eve. LYNN nail technician.
The first nail broke while opening the refrigerator popped off.
(same night]. The next day while working the second one popped off in the kitchen while getting coffee. By the next evening my middle finger was shipped at the corner of the nail bed. I returned to the spa the next day, the day after Christmas to explain what happened and request to Repair. Sitting down in the chair explaining to Liynn that she filed my nails way too thin. She said I’ll fix them for you but only the ones that broke. After explaining to her that my nails were way too thin she explained to me she was going to charge me additional money for repairing all of my nails.
Telling me that only thing she did was fill the bottom portion of my nail. I said to her yes that is true however you file the attire nail. And yes she did take the acrylic out to the tip requiring her to file that as well.
$ 30 dollars for a fill and cut down.
Please take note return only half of the money that I paid. I being a professional woman.
Have gone online to now warn other women of the poor quality of their work.
In addition understanding that it was Christmas Eve didn’t quite understand why the staff was drinking in the salon.
That might have been the reason for the poor workmanship.
Very immature unprofessional staff!
PS. I was told I can’t tip on my dept card they only take cash.
The blessings about an Uncle that works for the IRS is I can see an audit in their future.

Found this gem several months ago and try to go at least once a month. I go for the pedi/​manis and haven’t tried the other services but will soon. All of the staff are professional, very helpful and friendly — including the manager and receptionist, which makes for a very nice experience. I have brought my daughter with me a few times and she really likes the spa. My go to lady is TINA — she’s AWESOME. She’s great with all things nails and she’s funny, we usual have a good giggle when I’m there. I would describe the décor as a little glitzy but serene. I highly recommend the ladies and their work.

I had such a great experience here. The staff was friendly and the facility was GORGEOUS! I would recommend to any brides looking for a place to rise their wedding party. :) I got a gel mani and gel pedi and while it was a little more expensive then what I normally pay, the staff stayed late to accommodate me and they did a great job.

Wanted to update my original review. Had been going to the salon for manipedis and kept watching women walk out of there with gorgeous hair. I hadn’t really paid too much attention to the hair section (hard to miss it’s the entire left side of the place), but was so happy I checked it out.
Turns out the cause of all that hair heaven was a woman named Mona. Or as my kids say, who all go to her now, The Other Mona. She’s kind, warmhearted, honest, observant, L I S T E N S and most importantly of all, is a genious with scissors. I mean, she’s good. REALLY GOOD. She does my entire family and I’ve brought my mom and a few friends to her, we all see her regularly now. I feel like Mona, and Solace in general, are Sterling’s best kept secret.

I was bored so I Unilocaled. Couldn’t believed my eyes when ever rated this place 5 stars. Everyone!!! So even tho the price is higher than where my normal salon I wanted to try it anyway. Let me say I am satisfied with the service, the staff and the design. Highly recommend Tina !!! Cannot wait for my next design … She’s awesome and very welcoming.

Where shall I begin?
Great broad selections of OPI colors, & they’re color organized nicely on the shelf. Someone with OCD like me, it was very satisfying to look at and choose from. They offer water, wine, and/​or champagne. Definitely would help you unwind after a long day at work!
I had a great pleasure to have Tina do my nails. She was friendly and very professional. My nails turned out wonderful, and I’ve added the pic to the gallery as well.
I highly recommend this place to everyone who wants a great experience at a nail salon.

First time here and my nail technician was Ren, very nice, I felt so comfortable with her.
I had originally gone in to get a pedicure I was feeling low and not too happy with how my nails looked — I had just gotten surgery on them and the nail was growing healthily but it looked unpleasant, so I called made an appointment. Ren let me know my options, we decided a Spa Pedicure would be nice since I was looking for a relaxing experience, we decided on gel nails — and let me tell you something, I chose a color I would have never chosen, very subtle, almost a nude color and I loved it! My nails look healthy and I’m excited to go back soon!

I had a pampering spa day here which included a mani and pedi w champagne :)!!! I love the atmosphere in the salon, my hands and feet look amazing, and I felt like I was on vacation in a resort spa!!! I need to come more often!

I come here a few times a year for nail services. It’s always clean, has pretty décor, and friendly staff. Nice massage chairs too.
Like all nail technicians, if they’re not busy they will try to sell you an additional service or two, but if you decline once they won’t continue to to bug you about it like every other nail place… this is arguably the BEST part about going to Solace, and the reason I keep coming here.
I don’t have any one person I regularly see, since I only drop in now and then, but all the technicians do competent work. Some of them are better than others, of course, but I’ve never left unhappy with my pedicure or manicure. I’ve never had nail art done, but I’ve been with other girls who have and I recommend being specific about what you want if you’re going to get a design.
They have a nice selection of gel colors that seems to get bigger every time I go.

This was my first visit. Gorgeous salon. Professional and friendly employees. MiMi did my French gel manicure and did a great job! She talked with me when she saw I was interested in talking and let me sip my wine and relax. Their prices seemed a little high, but you get what you pay for. The pedicure station looked very inviting and oh so fancy I’ll be back when I have the money.

My friend and I stumbled upon this gem after work. We decided last minute to get our nails done and ended up being a walk-​in.
Lynn helped us and she was so lovely to talk with– she also did a great gel French manicure! I thought my nails were a tad too short but she made it work.
On top of that they offered a complimentary glass of wine. I’ll definitely be coming back with a scheduled appointment.
