If you use Giant Rewards gas points, AVOID THIS SHELL like the plague. Several times I’ve had 200+ or 300+ points on my card, but when I go to pump gas here, it only gives .10 off a gallon. At first I thought it was a fluke, but I went back and it continues. There’s Sugarland Shell on the other side of Rt.7 less than a quarter mile away where you can actually cash in your gas points for what they’re worth. If you just need gas without any rewards cards, then you’ll fine. Otherwise, avoid.

The owner of this station is so sweet! He’s usually around and always gets to know his customers. I always get my inspections done there because they’re über fast and open till late.

This place should be closed down! I was so disappointed when I got a flat, I thought I was lucky to make it there. I thought I was saved, so I went to talk to the mechanics. They refused to even look at me. One would not turn away from his computer despite my contact, excuse me… hello? comments. The technician that was working on a car was super busy but did the same thing. I’m done with this gas station. I refuse to even buy gas here anymore. I wish I could give no stars!

Are these people serious? BEWARE. My Honda Pilot needed a new alternator. This place is around the corner, and I have three young children and my husband works full time AND takes classes at night. The convenience caused me to go back to this place, even though we’ve had problems with them before. After my husband dropped off the car, they called me and told me it was going to be $ 600. I called them out on it, said the dealership quoted me $ 550, why so much? He said OH, let me double check and call you back. Called back and said, oh, my brother quoted me the price for the Mercedes alternator, your total will be $ 520, including tax. I knew they were STILL price gouging me, but at this point, I was paying for convenience. I knew I was overpaying by about $ 200, but I’m desperate and I need my car. Husband goes to pick it up, they charge us $ 520, he goes to drive home, it is squeaking like crazy. He turns around and goes right back, the guy says it needs a new alternator belt. My husband points out it wasn’t squeaking before, the man says it’s an old alternator belt with a new alternator, so that’s why it’s squeaking. New belt is $ 40, but we won’t charge you labor. This happened last time we took my husband’s Accord there. They «fixed» it, only for there to be something else wrong with it. I think this is their custom, they loosen things or make things make noise so they can charge you more money. I will NEVER EVER return to this place, what horrible human beings. (Please go down the road to Sugarland Shell, at the corner of Dranesville and Harry Byrd Hwy).

This place is a joke! They should be ashamed of themselves! I took my car in three days ago due to overheating. They said it was the water pump, I paid $ 220 to have it replaced (which I bought the pump new and brought it to them). Three days later it was doing the same thing. Take it back and he tells me another $ 300 to fix some type of hose!!! I can fully understand me paying for the hose, as for the labor that’s crappy! Considering he said the water pump was the reason it overheated to start! What a joke! ****WARNING***** they will rip you off!

When you stop to fill your car with gas it’s unusual to speak with the people running the station. In this case I needed a little guidance before I could properly use my rewards card followed by a credit card. The older gentleman who helped me came out of the store despite a drizzle. He could not have been more pleasant. I appreciate that and want to say thank you publicly. They’re earned my business. Whenever I am in the neighborhood I’ll stop by for gas.

I took my car here to get my state inspection after another service station was full for the day. They’re open for state inspections until 7pm and the folks there were very helpful and service line moved along swiftly.
