This winery is a must see! The grounds are gorgeous, the vineyards are easily accessible to see where they grow their own grapes. The building where the tasting room is located is cozy, quaint and very stylishly decorated. They rotate out their wines seasonally and have a wonderful variety of port, white, fruit and red wines. They generously offer complimentary tastings and the staff is warm, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable of all aspects of the business. The wines are delicious and very affordably priced. There are several local retailers selling this wine now but don’t miss out on the experience and ambience of visiting this gem in person!

This was an excellent stop on the Maine wine tour. They have red wines, white wines and fruit wines. They grow their own grapes on site. Some of the grape wines aren’t always available, due to challenges of growing and harvesting the finicky grapes here in Maine. We had the pleasure of samples ALL of the fruit wines. We even bought a few favorite to take home. The Blueberry Bliss was delightful! It’s a sweet dessert wine made from real Maine blueberries. I also took home a bottle of Blackberry Bewitched. This wine has a nice tart blackberry flavor with a very smooth finish. I also enjoyed the German plum wine. It’s not a sweet as some of the Japanese plum wines I have tried, but is flavorful and refreshing. There are a few retail shops in the Newport area that carry these wines. It was so much fun to meet the creator of these fabulous wines and hear about all the hard work and details that go into their wine making.

I love this wine so much! Everyone was so helpful and nice. I was able to try four different wines and they all are wonderful! I left there with 3 different bottles. Great for Christmas gifts. I will be bringing all my friends out to for a tasting. Highly recommend!
