5 stars because the chefs are great and kind, they hooook it uppp on the rolls, large pieces of delicious salmon, the waitresses are ok but sometimes i have to wait a few minutes longer than i want to in order to get my check(i dont like bothering the chef for my check) would much rather have the actual server bring my check. again food is great, not that cheap but hey its fish and fish is not cheap, theyre beers are super cheap too which is nice another reason besides the whole waiting for a check thing that makes me give only 4 stars is because at your other location in valencia by the mall the freakin waiter told my friend he couldnt have a beer because he «looked way too drunk»… pretty emberassing and disrespectful just because we were all laughing and having a good time, my friend was 100% sober(ITWAS12PMONLIKE A TUESDAY) hes lucky we didnt talk to his manager and get him in trouble. if they even cared. one bad apple spoils the bunch. still shocked he would dare tell my sober friend he is too drunk. but good job SR kyoto!

This place has some of the freshest sushi around. The AYCE is a great deal at $ 19.95 for lunch. I’ve eaten here about 10 times over the last six months and it’s always been a great experience.

New Kyoto is our favorite celebratory sushi place! Everyone who works here is super friendly and the food is fresh and absolutely delicious! The all you can eat dinner price is very affordable! Pay them a visit any time you want to treat yourself to a great time!

I live right across the street from this place but have never been there. Do we finally decided to check it out. The place is really tiny. There’s a 29 minute wait so we had to stand right by the door since there’s no where to sit or stand. The food was in my opinion overpriced for a place like that. Not the best quality fish. Not coming back

I used to have no problem with this place. But lately it’s been going down. I love sushi and I know my quality. But what really bothered me was on the plate there was foam on the plate of salmon. It’s disgusting and unhealthy. They still charged me. The thing is if you have a problem in your restaurant you should try to help the customer not just say sorry. DONOTCOMEHERE. Foam from idk where but it’s not appealing at the very least.

Came with friends for a party. All the sushi we got was not what we ordered. They forgot half the stuff we did order and my friend said the one thing she always gets didn’t taste right. Sorry but sushi isn’t supposed to have a smell. That means it’s gone bad. DONOTCOMEHERE

best auce price worth the food in all of scv. the new poki tuna menu is sooooooo good i couldn’t get enough of it. they added salmon sashimi to the ayce menu too which is fab for me since i mostly eat salmon. it is cut to the perfect thickness and very fresh for an ayce menu. their other sushi menus are good too. the surf clam sushi here is tender and fresh. i have had it taste like rubber in another ayce sushi restuarant so this is a plus for me. for those who like the dessert to come after… this restuarant has an ice cream flavor i haven’t seen in other restuarants. PLUM!!! the taste of the plum ice cream here is pure perfection. it is perfect to kill the sushi after taste for those who don’t favor ginger.

One of our favorite spots for sushi, whether we’re doing the AYCE or just ordering a few rolls, it’s the best… The service is great and the food is just delicious! We mostly order raw fish plates but the baked salmon roll is delish! The AYCE offers sashimi for both salmon and white fish which is just awesome! I’ve never been made to feel like we’re ordering too much. The lady even suggests dishes for us to try. This last time we went, it was a party of 4 for the AYCE dinner… We ordered 2 beers, 16 plates of sushi, 5 orders of baked mussels which come with 2 on each plate. We payed $ 111.00. We were stuffed to say the least. We will come back time after time… Whenever someone comes from out of town to visit us, this is where we bring them… They never disappoint. $ 2.50 per beer and either $ 20 or $ 22 for the AYCE…

I go here all the time and they’ve always been super courteous & quick and on top of the excellent customer service the food is top notch. I used to bounce around between like 5 sushi places until I came here and they make me feel so welcome I have no reason to go anywhere else. 6⁄5 Stars. If you like spicy rolls you gotta try the Vegas but seriously I don’t think there’s a bad roll here. Update: This place is still amazing! They treat us like family and the more we come here, the more welcome we feel. Great people and great food(:

This is our go-to sushi spot for Santa Clarita. The owners greet us warmly every time we visit and have introduced us to new and delicious rolls. We eat here once a week and are always pleased with the service and the food. My husband and I would wholeheartedly recommend New Kyoto Sushi to anyone looking for a tasty meal in a comfortable locale!

Standard sushi place. They have a good selection of rolls and a pretty good menu for the non-raw fish eater. The sushi was good but there was nothing special to put it above other places. Service was on the slow side on a not overly crowded visit.

My dad wanted to come here to eat the all you can eat sushi. Honestly, it was the worst sushi I have had in years. I usually go to love sushi on Lyons which is excellent. I don’t think the sushi chef understands how to make good sushi. I asked him if he eats the sushi he makes and he said no, I don’t like it. Well either did I. The cucumber salad was good. My suggestion for the sushi chefs here, are to have an open mind and learn a better way to make the rolls. I feel like it was a total waste of money. Thy don’t even know what they don’t know.

My son told me to try this place out, so I took the family there for the first time, a few weeks ago and I as well as my family feel in LOVE. This place is great, prices are good, but most of all the food is top notch. Def will return here again. Thank you for the great service.

I walked in here feeling like a hungry champ and walked out feeling like a stuffed champ nonetheless. I did the AYCE sushi and of course started with spicy tuna salad and sushi. Ain’t trying to fill myself with rolls off the bat. I got my favorites, salmon and squid, and followed up with other fish. The spicy tuna salad is always fresh and starts off as a nice appetizer. The dynamite comes in a smaller portion which is very much appreciated since I don’t like AYCE places that give you a huge portion and try to fill you up with that. Same with the baked mussels: there are only 2 per order so you can order more if you decide you like it. The salmon is extremely fresh here so I highly recommend getting it. I also got the baked lobster roll and I was super full by the time it came out but I’m glad I ordered it. The lobster portions are generous and they cover the rolls, which consist of crab and other goodies inside. The service was excellent and they tended to my big party of 6 people(and 3 kids) really quickly, which is well-appreciated when you have crying babies and hungry stomachs everywhere. It is relatively small so if you come during peak hours, you can probably expect a wait, for seats and for your food. So, if you are craving sushi, go early and have a feast! Be sure to get the plum ice cream. SO. GOOD.
