History

Established in 2001.

BOE Marine was started in 2001 actually doing yacht brokerage. Our customers kept asking us to help outfit their new boats since we have a wealth of expertise in this regard. It finally got to the point where the amount of time we spent outfitting boats exceeded the time spent selling boats. So we began to focus on outfitting. Since then we have been Voted the Best Marine Service in our area too many times to count, and built up a very nice customer base of people that demand the best.

Business Owner

Jim graduated in 1997 from Penn State University. He has been in the boat business ever since. He enjoys all kinds of boating from offshore fishing to sailing. His family owns all kinds of boats, but he personally has a 1974 23′ Seacraft he has lovingly restored. He also enjoys flying, and satisfied a lifelong dream of getting his pilots license in 2010. Recently, his son has started Kart Racing which is a great way to spend time with the family. He is so thankful for all the interesting customers we have, and the not so interesting ones! And is really looking forward to «whats next» for BOE.
