John and Fred have done a number of projects for me around my house and I have been extremely satisfied with their work. They are a father-​son team, with the son leading the charge these days. I know Fred is a seasoned contractor turned home inspector and has passed on his expertise to John over the years. Custom Craft has re-​done my heating system — I live in a 100 year old house and they brought everything to code and ran new ductwork throughout my house — it was a major project and required a lot of creative thinking! Additionally, they have helped out with smaller projects like installing light fixtures, fixing venting and making sure the venting goes outside instead of into empty wall cavities and I am planning on hiring them for a full bathroom remodel next fall. During the planning and preparing stages, along with while the work was happening, I was informed and involved. They are not the cheapest contractors on the block, but they’re definitely not the most expensive either. I guess the saying goes «you get what you pay for!»
