Sushi looked and taste great. I ordered the kazu roll it was so yummy! Shrimp eel avocado and eel sauce I love it! Also ordered crab ragoons they were super creamy and not to sweet and they weren’t super small they were stuffed! This was a laser minute choice to treat myself to sushi and I’m glad I did! Building wAs super cramped and small so I did Take out.

Love them only gave them a 4 **** because the health grade dropped to an 88. Other than that I have no complaints they get you in and out as far as your order I’ve never dined and I always stop by for lunch

I’ve been here various times and at first the waitress(always the same one), was OK, but the more times I went, the ruder she became. She borderline throws the menu at you, does not offer refills and becomes upset when you have special requests. The sushi tastes ok for the price but it does fall apart easily. Would not recommend the Chinese dishes. The only plus is that everything is cheap :)

I’d been craving sushi all day so I found a Japanese fast food place nearby. It quelled my craving, but later in the day, I wanted more. I asked my husband to stop by Kazu on his way home and ordered the spider roll and california roll. Can’t go wrong with a california roll, right? Only it had so much avacado I had to scrape some out. The spider roll wasn’t the best I’ve had either. Flavors were a bit bland for me. It wasn’t horrible though, so I may try again. Just so-so. Hubby did say the staff was really nice.

My family and I have eaten at Kazu dozens of times and it is a favorite of ours for both the service and the food. The owner is a really sweet lady and always makes us feel welcome and appreciated. They do a great job across the menu with sushi, hibachi, Chinese, and even top notch chicken wings; you can’t go wrong here!

I am always leary of restaurants that offer more than one type of cuisine. In this case it was Chinese and Japanese/Sushi. Traveled here for work and my coworker was hankering for some Chinese food. I wanted to like it, I really did. Especially since I could expense it. Sadly, it was just bad. I started off with a Kani salad. I had a foreshadowing moment when I ordered hamachi and unagi and the waitress stared at me blankly. I hadn’t even really bothered looking at the menu, as I always order the same thing for sushi. Hamachi, Unagi and Sake nigiri with a Kani salad as an appetizer. My bad, I thought even if she were of a different asian background, she would know the names of what she was offering in Japanese. I ordered again, in English. Then she kept saying I wanted Tuna, and I said no thank you several times. My coworker attempted to order tempura only to be informed that«Tempura bad for you, you like salad instead.» O K The sushi arrived, and I could tell right away it wasnt fresh, but the waitress was so annoyed when I sent back the Kani salad, I didn’t want to have to deal with her attitude if I complained about the sushi too. The salmon(sake) was barely okay, but I couldn’t eat the hamachi(yellowtail) and the unagi was unpleasantly slimy. To give them some credit, my coworker offered me a bite off her plate. It was delicious. The brown sauce the shrimp and veggies were in was delicious. But I was ravenous and disappointed. Luckily I drowned my disappointment in sake, which, since my stomach was pretty much empty, did it’s job in half the time. :)

This is a quiet, nice, and cute atmosphere to this restaurant. Haven’t been here in a while but my past experiences were always good. My family have become really good friends with the owner named Rita. She’s a sweet lady. The food here is pretty good not the best I’ve had but good. The place also seems very organized and clean.

This place is good. Not mind blowing but good. Our favorite out of the three rolls we ordered was their signature Kazu roll. The flavor/freshness would be an 8⁄10. As for the volcano roll 7 because it wasn’t spicy at all. And it lacked in flavor. The boston roll was the blandest out of all 3 rolls so 5 for Boston. On days where I don’t want to drive to Rusan’s I would definitely go here for my sushi instead on China Café

The worst customer service ever. I asked for a different container for my sushi and krab ragoon. The lady started screaming at me and told me not to come back. However, I kept my composure because it was not that serious. She yelled at me in such disrespect. I will never go back there. I suggest you do not either. If they will treat me like this they will treat you like this. DONOTGOTHERE. THEFOODDIDNOTLOOKGOODANYWAYS. THEKRABRAGOONWASNOTCOOKEDALLTHEWAYTHROUGH.

Great sushi choices but everything else on the menu I would pass on. Great prices and that’s what brings a lot of people in that I know.

I used to go here all the time with my friends before I moved to Houston. Everytime I visit family in Stockbridge I have to go to Kazu! They have the best hot & spicy soup, & the sushi is always fresh & delicious. I love the owner she’s a real laugh, always friendly.

Great option of sushi, Chinese or Japanese food. The bento box lets you have some of each. The owner is so sweet and remembers our favorite dishes. Nice quiet environment. Always clean. They also have the higher quality chopsticks. Not the pull apart kind.

This place never lets us down. We live in downtown Atlanta and eat at Kazu in Stockbridge whenever we get a chance. There is no other restaurant in the area as good as kazu, period. Its not just better than the other asian food offered in the area, its better than any restaurant.
