After 5 days my car in this shop to fix the water leak, charge me more then $ 600
When I receive it still leaking in the same spot ‚
I show him the water spot underneath my car, he said this spot from another car check it today and let me know, next day I go back to them for the same reason, he check it again an said there is another leak you have to pay more $ 350 plus labor and tax ‚
What is this company ?
And today I meet them to find some solution, he said I can’t do any think, so I paid $ 615 for nothing just nothing, he said its can happen, I said I am going to the court, he said do your way ‚
I never see like that they don’t care about your car on care about money

I thought I would try Brannon since they are close by. When I called they were polite and said they would be able to finish during my lunch. They completed on time and provided a courtesy call to let me know my car was ready. I plan on using them again.

My new car was sent over to this place by my car dealer. I have never touched my wheel locks on my car since its new and I have no need to do that. A rep from Brannon calls to ask me where it is located, I inform him that the car was sent over by the dealer and they were the last to see it. He is rude «stating its your car that is here and we need the wheel lock» I just told him it would be easier to call the dealer since they were the last to touch it what is so difficult about that. Ultimately my car was sent back to the dealer located who easily located the wheel lock. Please take customer service courses on how to listen…

I’ve been here at Brannon Tires three times now and I have to say I have been soo appreciative to everyone there! They answered all the questions I had. Also, get your oil change there! They check out everything to make sure you’re all set. Tire rotation, fill, check your lights, the works at a good price!

Tom and his crew were great. I had bought tires a while back and my car drove like crap. I figured since it was 10 years old that was par for the course. I took it to Brannon for a new set on the front since worn struts, misaligned, and 90 miles per day wears tires like crazy. The team there noticed that I had the wrong size tires on for my staggered wheels. They made everything right again and my car drives good as new.

Came in for a smog check today, the guy told me it would be an hour. Things looked a bit fishy when the price came to be $ 70, but I was willing to pay that much since i could browse the mall during the wait. 45 minutes into my wait, the guy calls me up and tells me they cant do the smog check today. I’ve been here plenty of times before for tiresl replacements and check ups, but it was always with a different guy. Doesn’t look like I’ll be coming here anymore.

Four original stars because the work was done right, two taken away because they hosed me on it. Estimate on upper and lower ball joints and drag link replacement, north of a grand. Going on a trip, new tires, need to do it so I make an appointment for today. Estimate included 8 hours labor. Dropped the 250 off at 7:30 drove my extra car by at 12:30 and saw truck had been moved to the alignment bay, meaning replacement of parts was done, and they were proceeding on the alignment, a separate flat rate item. See it out front at 1, ready to go, so I return home to drop the extra car off and wait for a call from shop. At 2 get the call, with the price quoted same as original estimate. I go over and tell the salesman we need to go through the bill, as I have concerns on the labor charge. I explained my thought as to 5 hours at 95.00 per hour as compared to the charge of 8 hours at 95.00, Salesman bangs on the computer for a few minutes then grandly informs me that he can give me a 100.00 discount. Out of patience by then, I pay up and get out. Apparently they use a manual that details the time for each repair item and whether or not they spend that amount of time on the repair, that is what you pay. 3 hours at 95.00 against a 100.00 credit, looks like I took the pipe for 185.00.

I happen to be a Long Time customer, I have had complicated electrical diagnostics done, Electrical repairs, Batteries, brakes, oil changes, new tires, even New Boat Trailer tires! Never a problem, Tom & Chris are my only «Go To» guys for all my automotive services & purchases. I have always found Brannon on Claremont Ave. in Stockton able to get every job done in a timely manner and at a fair price. It’s the only place I take my vehicles! I trust them with my cars and trucks, and I’m a «Car Guy»!

This placed used the wrong grade to change my oil over the course of 6 months. They also never checked my cabin filter and it looks disgusting and now I have to get it replaced. The last time I was there and left, my hands were black from using the steering wheel because they didn’t wipe down my car! So the car handle and other knobs were dirty too! The guys at desk are also like zombies, everything you tell them will go in one ear and out the other! When I voiced a concern they just nodded yes in agreement when I actually asked an open ended question. Total incompetence and lack of professionalism. Never going here again. I was just enticed by the nearby shopping. Waste of my time and money

WARNING! WARNING! Need anyone say more? Zero stars is the only rating this place deserves.
Ran into a «he said, she said» issue about a cross threaded oil pan drain plug. This place claimed to have detected a crossed threaded drain plug prior to finishing an oil change on my vehicle. They claim it came in that way, but said nothing to me until closing out my service. Regardless of whether their technician or the previous technician caused the problem, they proceeded to force the plug into the vehicle without my speaking to me and giving me the option to have them repair it.
Fast forward to the next oil change (not at Brannon), the technician takes me to my vehicle and shows me that he cannot remove the drain plug because it had been forced in.
To remedy the problem, I tried speaking with Tom (Brannon Tire branch manager) who swears his guys ALWAYS report if they did something wrong or broke something on a customer vehicle… what do you think? Anyway, he swore there is no way his guy cross threaded the drain plug. I said I wanted to get this resolved at the lowest level possible and did not want to go to the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (
). But Tom said he wasn’t going to correct the issue, but did give me a cell phone number to Bar investigator (Phil Zellmer 916÷403−8168) to call. I called and left a few messages, but never got a return phone call. So I contacted the bar through their online number (800÷952−5210). There I spoke with (Chris…think that was the name) and discussed the situation. He said that regardless of who caused the problem, the repair center that detected it, should have reported to the customer that they «could not complete the service due to a problem and repaired.» So I again contacted Tom, and relayed that the bar said that regardless of whether his technician did it or not, he had a obligation to inform me prior to continuing the work and to give me the option to have it repaired. But the technician forced it into the drain pan without my knowledge and they said nothing until after the fact. According the bar rep, there’s a repair tool to oversize the drain threads and to use a larger drain plug… I relayed this to Tom who said he’d been in the business for over 25 years and swore that there’s no such repair tool. I looked the tool up online… they’re all over the place. 25 yrs experience… it doesn’t show.
Tom next referred me to the owner Jerry Brannon (209/644−4415)…called and left a few messages, but got no call back. Jerry works out of their Wilson Way facility, so I called there looking for him… I ended up speaking with his daughter Carrie. She seemed genuinely concerned about correcting the issue, took my number, saying she’ll call me right back, but she never did call. Again, I left 3 or 4 voice messages for her, but again, no return call. So I again tried Jerry’s number and he actually answered. I introduced myself and began going over my situation when he cut me off saying he’s well aware of what is going on. His response was that he was sticking with what his branch manager said about not correcting their screw up and that he did not want to do business with me any more.
All this took place over 3 days of facility visits and phone calls. From Tom and Carrie, I got promises to call me back «right away», but didn’t get the return call. I left Jerry message, he just ignored contacting his customer. Is this the kind of customer service you want? Getting the most unprofessional service I’ve ever experienced, I came here to Unilocal to see other reviews. After seeing the countless negative review after review, I had to put some of this problem on my own shoulders… in other words, my bad, I should have checked them out first before using their service. Thus far all 2015 reviews are just 1 star and most of 2014 reviews were also just 1 star. From the rapid start, it looks like to 2015 is going to be plagued with bad reviews for this place. Who would have ever thought that they couldn’t perform a simple oil change without screwing it up… badly!
One last WARNING! They recommended numerous other repairs to my vehicle, like needing rear brake pads because they were 99% worn out. Without checking (again, my bad), I purchased some pads at my local automotive parts store and went home to replace them myself. Upon removing my tire it was obvious that my pad were no were close to being worn out.

Horrible customer service. Walked in there to get an alignment done and as they were helping the whole 2 people in there, they looked at me and didn’t say a word, no hello, no smile, NOTHING. I got in line and another man walks in and stands behind me, instantly the man behind the counter speaks to him and completely ignores me. So I preceded to walk out the door. They lost a customer because they want to pick and choose who to be friendly to. Oh well, Midas has way better customer service and pricing was $ 20 cheaper. Thanks Midas.

They wanted to charge me 250.00 for a replacement tire! Are you crazy! I didn’t pay that much when I purchase from you! I was born at night but not last night!

Do not go here! Go to the one on Wilson Way. The first thing my wife asked Marty before we took the car in was, can you run an electrical diagnosis to find the problem? I explained to him the car won’t start, I have a brand new battery and gotten the alternator replaced 3 times. The shop that put my alternator in said that something was killing my alternator and they didn’t specialize in electronic work so I needed to take it somewhere that could find where the problem was coming from. Marty assured me that Brannon could find whatever is causing my car to burn through alternators and run a diagnosis. I got the car towed there and 3 hours later he called and said the wires that connected to the battery were really bad and they needed to be replaced before they can run any diagnostic on my car. I told them to do whatever they need to do to find the problem. They called back another two hours later and said they found the problem… «You need a new alternator.» Once I came in to pick my car up Marty asked if I was going to be getting my alternator replaced there. I had no intent on getting a new alternator there because I still had a warranty on it from the last shop that put it in. I was more concerned on if they found out why my car is killing alternators and what they found from running test. He said that it was all because of my connections. He was «100 percent sure» that the connections had been the reason why the alternators were dying. He even went to the liberty of rudely repeating himself «the connections» every time I ask if anything else was wrong. I asked again if that is all they found on the test? and once again «the connections.» I paid the man $ 120 and for the 4^th time I took the car back to the previous shop and got a new alternator put in. And of course 24hrs later that alternator couldn’t hold a charge. I went back to Brannon and explained to them that the «connections» they fixed did nothing and I’m in the same predicament I was in before I paid them to get the car towed there and diagnostic. Marty then said that I probably have a intermittent problem and the on site technician would need to run an electrical diagnosis to find out what was killing my alternator. I was extremely pissed after hearing this seeing that the entire purpose of me towing my car there in the first place was to get the service he was now offering to me for the second time. 2 days later on the phone the manner tried to explain to me what i «paid for» aand how they should’ve charged me more money to run a text to check for a charge. I told him it wasn’t about the money. My time and convenience was much more important. All I wanted to do was find out what was wrong with my car and get it fixed. I would’ve let them give it another shot but that meant paying for another tow and whatever else they decided to charge me for.

this is the 2^nd time i’ve came here, &both times were horrible. the 1^st time, i waited an hour for them to install a new battery –_​_​– when i was at the front counter dealing with the battery situation, i also told the worker TWICE that i need an oil change &tire rotation. so after an hour of waiting, what did he not ring me up for? oil change &tire rotation. so i had to wait another hour for the worker’s mistake. like wth? there was no apology either for the mistake. i came back again for a follow up oil change &tire rotation, &the worker said it was an hour wait. it’s been almost 2 hours now. yeah im not coming back.

I had my 2010 Chevy truck lifted by them.
They didn’t tighten the torsion bar bolts completely.
One fell out, that almost killed my family.
DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR SUSPENSION FOR ANY REASON.
Very minor work maybe.
Also the tires they put on my truck are the wrong rating.
$ 1200 in tires and I’m stuck with them.
Do not trust them. Go to Les Shwab instead.

My second time there. Was able to get right in & out and my tire was fixed! Always great friendly service.

Took my car into Brannon before I went down to L.A. for a trip. On the way down there, my car would start to shimmy between 65 and 70 miles. When I got back into town I took it over to America’s Tires to have them check it out. They said I was missing weights on three out of four wheels, and that was why the vehicle was shimmying. I also found out that my tires hadn’t been properly aligned in months, even though ever time I took it into Brannon it showed on the invoice that they were aligned.
Another instance I took my car into Brannon because the check engine light was on. I left it with them and they checked it out. Turns out it was a new gas cap I bought, it was the wrong size so it was lose. That’s why the light was coming on. I go to pick it up, they charge me $ 90 to tell me the gas cap was lose. I go out to my car and the gas cap was on the trunk of my car… they couldn’t even put it back on. THEY ARE A SCAM!

This is the ONLY place we take our cars. They are HONEST and thorough. Oil changes and smogs are done super fast and all the guys that work here are totally cool, good people. They are so good, my mom used to drive here from the Bay Area to get her car fixed (when she had a car, she doesn’t now, uses public transportation)! Just like any place, I would call and try to make an appointment for serious repairs, otherwise they can usually get you in if you call in the morning.

Love Brannon Tires. Customer service is tops here. I always bring my car in for AC service every 2 years. The job is always done right the first time so I don’t have to worry. The only downer is the 2 ½ hour wait. However, I guess it’s worth if you want the job done correctly.

I always come here for an oil change, tire rotation, pretty much everything. We once took my car to American Tire for brakes and within a week they squeaked again. I took it here and they fixed it. So I can say Im going to continue to bring my car here. They’re really nice and very prompt.
