We have an excellent variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner. From pancakes to chorizo and egss. We serve an exquisite shrimp cocktail and different shrimp platters. We also have enchiladas, quesadillas, burritos, chiles rellenos just to mention some of our delicious platters.

History

Established in 1992.

Casa Flores Restaurant on downtown was the first restaurant of the all the Casa Flores restaurants. It was established in 1992 by three members of the Flores family. Aaron Flores (RIP), Antonia Flores and Josue Flores. This location is now just owened by Antonia Flores and Carlos Vargas.

Meh, I guess this place is OK, if you’re looking for mediocre food past 2:30 on a Wednesday after catching a movie. All the good places happened to be closed. I wouldn’t waste my money here again.

Service was good but food was lacking. Had carne asada super burrito and it didn’t taste like much of anything. The taco salad we had was great but I couldn’t recommend this place outside of stockton.
If you are in stockton and want a taco salad go for it. But definitely couldn’t recommend this place outside the city borders

This is the cleanest mexican restaurant I’ve ever been in. Even the restroom was spotless! Pride shows through in the level of service, too. Chorizo was a bit dry but maybe it’s just not my preference. Coffee was good.

Stopped here for lunch after accompanying a friend to the courthouse. The customer service was very good. We were warmly greeted when we walked in and told to sit wherever we would like. A server came by immediately and offered us drinks and gave us menus. I ordered the one item lunch plate and my meal was a cheese enchilada with green sauce and I enjoyed it very much. I also liked the rice and beans. I was thrilled to find out they also have a location in Manteca and I do enjoy the opportunity to eat good Mexican food whenever possible. If I find myself in the area again I will gladly eat here and I also plan on trying the Manteca location as well.

A coworker recommended I try this place, and now I’ve been there a number of times (when I’m too tired to make food after a long work day). The food has been consistently yummy, and the service has always been great. I witnessed a not-​so-​great customer being treated very kindly, which must have taken lots of patience! The food is affordably priced, and when you get take out, they often give you a bag of chips and fresh salsa for free. Love that!

A perfect example of how things can go so wrong and how a nice smile and kind words can make it like it never happened. And the server responsible can still make it through the situation and receive a nice tip.
We had breakfast here at Casa Flores this morning and when the coffee arrived we noticed small particles floating around in both of our cups. We mentioned it to the woman serving us and she offered an apology and made us a fresh pot of coffee. She spent time and spoke to us like we were old friends. She made us feel welcomed.
The coffee glitch was just one of the couple small incidents that happened during our visit but our server handled it gracefully and with class. We appreciated that.
Needless to say, this outing ended with us giving her a nice tip.

I asked for some additional salsa, something spicier. the waitress brought me a bowl of warm sauce from the kitchen. It was amaZing and tasted of habenero. The chicken enchiladas was also swimming in a generous portion of mole sauce.

The food is okay. Depending on what you order. The reason for the high rating and why I have returned is because of the spectacular customer service. Everytime you walk in, the host at the counter has the most welcoming smile and greeting. I’d recommend trying it at least once or twice and decide for yourself.

Quick and efficient service, food was solid. I had the chicken salad, and was alright. I thought the combination plates would have a little more food, however, the pricing is pretty good. The décor was OK. Good but not spectacular.

Worst mexican food and service we’ve ever had. Asada taco had no flavor. Enchilada sauce tasted canned. Had shrimp cocktail and they served it warm. He said that was because they just boiled the shrimp. I expected it to be cold. No one else in restaurant– it took ½ hour to get our food. No one checked on during the meal.

Boyfriend and I decided to go on a date on a Monday night. He was feeling for some good Mexican food and a burrito truck was definitely not the first choice. So we drove around downtown Stockton and found this place. (It was the only open Mexican spot downtown) So we decided to give the place a try!
Service was good and prompt. The lady that helped us was really nice and she spoke English which is really important for me. Because its a pet peeve of mine when restaurants, especially those that serve foreign food has employees that directly communicate with customers that doesn’t know how to speak English.
Food was great! Really tasty and rich! I don’t really know how a home cooked Mexican food taste like, but I bet the food in this joint comes close to that. The platters were huge and can feed 2 people! The total was really inexpensive as well.
Boyfriend loved it. And we would definitely come back to this place!

–free chips and salsa; chips are nice and crunchy and the salsa is generally fresh
–option to have drinks in a to-​go cup

–service is so-​so
–their beef is really though
–restaurant can be quite stuffy at times
–food is overall average
–Not that much better than chain Mexican-​sit down restaurants (Chevys, El Torito)
Overall, this restaurant is a decent option if you’re in downtown Stockton. They do take phone orders and the staff is nice.

Belly needed food after a concert at the Bob Hope Theatre. Stumbled upon this dive and it wasn’t bad. The place is dumpy but the food was decent. Ordered the Chile Colorado and was quite pleased.

Dropped in for a quick lunch yesterday. Nothing special, but certainly nothing to complain about either.
The host (owner?) was very friendly and service was quick. They’ve got a lunch menu where you can pick one item for a combo plate (w/​rice and beans) for under 6 bucks. I went with a quesadilla, and it was solid. Could have used a side of guac and sour cream, but for the price I wasn’t about to complain.
Chips and salsa were also provided, which is always appreciated. So if you’re in downtown Stockton and looking for a fairly cheap lunch, this place is worth considering.

I like this place cause its one of the few spots that cook with healthy oil and not lard like other places. So if your a fan of lard and don’t give a crap about what you eat then i suggest you don’t go to this place.
Their service is OK if you don’t go during lunch hours, a lot of people from the court house go here and its very hard to get your food on time. Their prices are very fair and don’t screw you like other Mexican places out there.
If i had to make a decision between healthy food with bad service and greasy food with good service i select the healthy choice.
