Went in today to smog my truck. I never had to smog a diesel p/​u before so I had a couple questions. He answered all my questions and did the smog in under 25min. I definitely recommend this place

I am extremely pleased with my services today. I came in for a test only, not knowing if my car was even passable. The friendly gentleman at the counter reassured me and let me know if it didn’t, my retest would be free. Not only that, but he was quite personable and didn’t give off that sleezy-​auto-​shop-​creeper vibe at all. In fact I felt right at ease and it was almost enjoyable, as far as spending my money on vehicle paperwork goes.
Hey, maybe I’m just elated that my car passed with flying colors, but give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed. Friendly, no-​bullshit service, bottom line.

I found this place here in Unilocal and skimmed over the review. The consensus was good so I decided to give them a call. They were very friendly and helpful. I was glad to know that I could just walk in and they would perform the smog check on my car in 15 minutes. They definitely delivered! I was happy to pay $ 30 considering other places charge a lot more. I will definitely come back and recommend this to others.

Got a smog here, failed my first time and he diagnosed what’s wrong. It was a bad o2 sensor. Got it fixed and passed with flying colors. Reasonable price and fast.

Unilocal helped me find this smog check station. Luckily there was no wait (came on a Monday late morning) and the smog check was done in just under 20 minutes. I didn’t have a hard time finding it. Service was friendly and fast. I would return here again for another smog check in the future.

Pro tech Smog Center opens at 8 am, which is pretty handy. Their location was easy to find, being very close to the intersection of El Dorado and Alpine. Alan helped me this morning. He was very polite and personable. The waiting area was clean, with lots of seating, a television and magazines. It cost me 48 $ for a smog test, certificate, and transmission to the DMV. I will definitely be coming back next month when my other car comes up for registration.

I was trying to register my car because it was from Minnesota, and I was impressed with the owner right away. He asked if I my check engine light was one (which it was), and said that he wouldn’t even test my car because it would be an automatic fail. I appreciated his honesty and the fact that he didn’t just want my money. I got that fixed and came back.
It was cheaper than other places, I got in right away, and the owner was especially nice. We chatted about airplanes and motorcycles and he even gave me a place for me to go to find a good deal on motorcycles (since I expressed to him that I’m always trying to avoid getting ripped off because I’m a girl).

Wonderful service and price! The owner, Alan, was super nice and friendly, and it only took about 15 – 20 minutes. He asked me if I had a coupon from the Yellow Pages, which I didn’t, but he gave me the $ 10 discount anyway. I had called around to a few other smog check stations, but they told me it would take about 45 minutes and the prices ranged from $ 58 – 68. At Pro-​Tech, my total was $ 48 out the door, plus the «great, fast service» (as Alma mentioned in her review) definitely made my day. Thank you, Alan!

Great, fast service! I came here for the first time to get a smog check on my ‘stang and was in and out of there in less than 20 minutes! The owner was a really nice/​funny guy, who even stayed open a little later to accommodate me because I was running late.
I was able to get a smog check here for under $ 50 because I used a coupon from the YellowPages. BUT, if you happen to be employed by Stockton Unified (like myself), you instantly get $ 10 off. AMAZING! lol
