I wish I could rate in negative amounts because I would definitely give this place a –10 stars. That being said to start out my experience at tranquility day spa it is a very small 1920s run down cabin in the abandoned woods type of a place. They offer pedicures however, they do not have pedicure chairs or the tubs for your feet to go in. Instead they go into the back room and grab a plastic storage container that is filled with water for your feet to soak in like they used to use in 1970s and the chairs are your typical lazy boy recliners that they place pet hair protectors over. If that doesn’t make you run in the opposite directions let me state the price of their pedicures 30 dollars. Now I would have no problem paying 30 dollars at a regular spa however for what they have to offer the price is not fair. The number one reason I would advise all of you to run in the opposite direction is due to the terrible customer service not just by the girl who works at the front desk but by the owner himself. The front desk girl was not helpful at all she had no clue about pricing and when I asked the price of a pedicure she told me she didn’t know and to call the owner mind you the owner is not my boss he’s hers. The esthetician for my facial was 45 minutes late and showed up with her two children following behind her. It wouldn’t have been a big deal if she just acknowledged me and apologized for her tardiness however, that is not what happens she walked around looking mad at the world to the point that I decided to cancel my appointment and leave because of how uncomfortable I felt. However before I could leave it ended with the owner of the business screaming at me. Mind you all I came there for was a relaxing day before Mother’s Day. The most unprofessional place I have ever been to in my entire life. The massage therapist and the pedicure girl should really look for jobs else where because they were too professional and kind to work at such a terrible spa.

I got a gift card for my birthday for a massage. And I LOVE massages, often going to wine and roses to pay a pretty penny for one… But I will not be returning to wine and roses because I just got the BEST massage I have EVER had here by Michele. She was AMAZING. She was unconventional then the same old massages. She knew how to read my body-​where the tension was. HANDS DOWN she is the best. I will be returning!!!

My husband and I recently went and had seperate services. My husband had the relaxation massage, 1^st professional massage hes ever had, and he enjoyed it. He was calm and relaxed the rest of the day!
Myself I did the relaxation massage with Tammy and 5 star facial with Angel. Not my 1^st professional massage or facial, but was 1^st time at Tranquillity. Loved every bit of both my services.
One difference I did notice was the staff actually talks with you outside initial assessment.
With my previous experiences at other spas the staff stayed extremely quiet throughout services. Which I understand is to give client totally relaxing experience, but made me feel slightly uncomfortable.
I throughly enjoyed chatting with Tammy and Angel during my services.
Will DEFINITELY return for more services, and recommend Tranquillity Day Spa! Next service Spa pedi! Gonna try to do monthly massages with the hubby too!

I always get a monthly massage from this place and they never ever disappoint. I usually dont have a go to person and so I have had service from all them and I can definitely say that they know what they’re doing. They also don’t cut the time back, if they mean an hour then they will give you an hour massage. I never had a bad experience with them. Their facials are also the best. They know when to just let you sleep or explain to you what they are doing. I love this place and always go back to it.

Omg! Perfect way to spend a girls afternoon. Went here with two of my teacher friends to unwind and get some of the «kid kinks» out. The experience for all three of us was incredible! We were all so relaxed after our hour massages. The level of professionalism with all three therapists added to make our experience fabulous. Plan to return often!

Bought an all out gift certificate for my mom one Christmas because she needs to relax and I lived in San Diego at the time. I made the call the receptionist was great and really helpful sent the gift certificate to my mom’s house and receipt to me in San Diego. I ended up going to my mom’s and she wanted me to tag along since it was her first real massage. They were very attentive to her and so friendly. It was quiet and relaxing. Overall great experience for my mom. She wanted to do it again so I’m buying a couple’s gift certificate for her and my dad. Thanks you guys!!!

This place is the best, hands down. The location is tucked away, but inside, the atmosphere is calm, inviting, and relaxing, and the price is right. Tammy’s deep tissue massages are the best you will get. I had chronic neck pain from a car accident 18 years ago, and after 3 monthly massages, I have got my full range of motion back completely. AFTER 18 YEARS! Since I have a job that causes lots of muscle tension in my shoulders and neck, I get a massage every month, and I fully believe my headaches have decreased to almost nothing because of them. Tammy gives it her all every time, and the rest of the staff is always very friendly and accomodating. Definitely check this place out!

I have experienced my first professional massage here. I enjoyed that you are greeted immediately and all of the staff that I met were very polite. My massage itself was great. The pricing was right. the ability to get an appt. was not difficult at all. She listened to all of my concerns as far as problem areas and even the pressure of the massage that was right for me. The rooms you get your massage in suited me fine. There was a basket by the door for your clothes and shoes and a place to put any accessories like your glasses. That was nice and convenient. The reason why I didn’t get 5 stars is because the décor when you first walk in is not very pleasing. It’s not what I think of when I think spa. In my mind I see white and clean as serene and blue water type colors. All I could see was brown brown brown which makes me think of dreary and muddy. When it comes to relaxation, I believe what you see and visualize is a huge part if your mood. Other then stepping up the décor, it was quite a nice experience and I would definitely return.

I do intense manual labor all week (plenty of bending, lifting, handtrucking), and my back takes a beating. I have had two sessions at this place with Salena (hope that’s spelled right) — and she has worked out some serious tension, what a relief.

I got a gift certificate to this place and decided to try it out. It looks kind of plain on the outside and is tucked out of the way and the inside is not glitzy but don’t be fooled by the looks. It was the BEST massage I have ever gotten!!! I was having chronic neck and shoulder pain that even my chiropractor couldn’t fix completely. Tami gave me a super deep tissue massage that made me relax so much that I practically melted out the door. It made a huge dent in my neck and shoulder pain. I am definately going back soon.

This past weekend, I treated myself to my very first spa mani/​pedi at Tranquility Day Spa. While is was long… it was the best mani/​pedi I have ever experienced. Lut (her name) was extremely gentle and thorough. The package includes a scrub, a mask and a perfect massage.
My husband was getting a massage while I was treating myself to beauty.
BTW… this spa is running a special. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, make an appointment for a massage with Selena or Dez… $ 50. That’s one hour for FIFTY DOLLARS. Add only $ 5 for deep tissue!

This place is AMAAAAZZZZIIINNNGG!!! AMAZING! I decided to start my search of great massage places near our area… I had this amazing massage in Maui and thought, «…man, if i can only find a massage therapist that was as awesome as the one I had in Maui…» So, I did my research as I always do… and one of the things i searched was on Unilocal… yup, here! And, glad I did… I read the reviews and seriously… i’m SO SO SO GLAD that I went and got a massage with Tammy! She took the time to talk to me before the massage to go over my form and discuss my needs. She’s very kind, compassionate and professional! During the massage, she was very attentive to how my body reacted to the stretches and/​or massage strokes asking me how I was doing and/​or finding out if it was okay. I took my best friend/​sis there too and she usually doesn’t like massages but this time she felt SOOOOO RELAXED! She had a male masseuse (we don’t remember his name) and she said he was great as well: relaxing, professional and she walked out ready to fall asleep! The price was great and very affordable compared to other massage places that may charge so much more. The quality and professionalism of this place with the affordability was just great! Staff was awesome! And, on last minute notice the day of my massage, they even made the effort to call all their massage therapists to try and get my sis a massage that day. Great customer service! You have to check this place out! I’m definitely coming back again in a few weeks!

I woke up this morning with a very soar back, muscle tense, and could hardly turn my neck so I asked my friend if she knows any place for a good massage. She’d mentioned about Tranquility Day Spa, but she’d never gone there before so she’s not sure. I went to Unilocal to see if anyone knows about this place and thanks to the previous people who Unilocaled about this otherwise I don’t think I would even try this place. From the outside of the place, you probably wouldn’t think much of it and even the inside of the parlor, nothing fancy, but once the service starts, oh man… it was the BEST. Suzy was the person who worked on my, and boy she worked… with perfect pressure she worked all the knots on my neck that was tensing everything up and all the ache and pain on my back eased up. I’ve booked a 2 hrs relaxing massage and that was the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. After Suzy was done with me, I felt so relax and re-​energize. This is definitely the place to go if you guys need a GOOD massage and best of all the PRICE. I’m from the Bay Area and you can not get this kind of price in SF. I will definitely come back to this place again!

The new owners have transformed the place, Used to come maybe 1 – 2 x a year. mainly because I would get a gift certificate, but now I cant stay away. they have fabulous monthly specials and Tammy works magic on the body. I had suffered months with sciatica and found immediate relief with her sciatica massage. there were has been no reoccurrence since my second visit. The place looks so much more appealing with everything they have done to the place… keep it up
