Trinity Urgent Care

Not so nice front desk didn’t really seem like she knew what she was doing. They gave me a follow up and also told me to go to ste 204 workers comp. So I made an apt with workers comp and went back to UC they were confused as to why I came in on my follow up from the paper they directly gave me. And didn’t explain the mix up and told me to go back to workers comp. Also either workers comp or UC which ever one had sent my files to my employer like they do but also sent a patients INFO along with mine. That’s not how HIPPA works

Great place to go if you are in need of interim care. Came here for a swollen finger and did wait nearly an hour (it is a walk in clinic people– lol) but the doctor was fantastic and helped me to understand what was going on and my treatment options. The staff was also great, no complaints to give here. We will definitely keep this in mind should we need help in the future. Thank you Trinity:)

Why are these guys still in business? Shut them down!

It is a new year and Trinity Urgent Care has adopted a money-​grabbing policy. If you haven’t hit your insurance deductible yet, they feel that without first providing any service, they should be paid ¹⁄₃ of your remaining deductible.
I have insurance as protection against the whimsy of uncouth business practices but this is something the are unable to defend against. Fortunately my visit was not critical and I was able to give them a piece of my mind and walk out. My deductible is fairly low, I can’t imagine the outrage of going in there and actually needing ‘urgent care’ just to be accosted for an unearned payment.
Unless my life depends on it, I will never step foot in that facility again.

I will never return to Trinity Urgent Care, and I recommend you do the same.
The few times I had been to Trinity Urgent Care in the past, I had no issues, but after my experience on Saturday night I will never return.
Long story short… for the prior week I had been having issues with my breathing… I thought it was my asthma again, but I really have not had issues with asthma in a couple years. I put up with it for a week trying to use my asthma medications but nothing seemed to make it much better.
Saturday I went to Yosemite for the day to take some pictures of the Yosemite Valley with fresh snow. Getting in the fresh air should have cleared up my asthma if it was truly that issue, but it just made it worse through the day… by the end of my day I was having really issues breathing with pretty bad indigestion as well. I left Yosemite and drove back to Stockton as fast as I could. I called my fiancé and had her make sure to see what time Trinity Urgent Care closed, and she checked and it was 9:00pm. In fact in the lobby they have a huge sign on the wall that reads something to the tune of «Trinity Urgent Care — Open 9am-​9pm 365 Days A Year».
I drove as fast as I could without getting a ticket all the way from Yosemite to Stockton. Because of all the traffic coming out of Yosemite it took me over three hours… the whole time I was having issues with my breathing. Nothing that would make me stop at a hospital, but enough that I was really worried.
I got to Trinity Urgent Care at a little before 8:30pm. I was so relieved… it wasn’t even near closing. I walked up to the second floor, saw the receptionist in the office and just two people in the waiting room and felt even better. I went to open the door…
AND IT WAS LOCKED.
I looked at my watch and it was 8:32pm. I looked and on the door and wall next to it was a notice that starting in 2014 that the last patient must be registered by 8:45pm to be seen. I looked at my watch and my phone again and it was 8:33pm. I called Trinity’s phone number and they answered the phone. I very nicely explained that I was wondering how to get inside because I was standing outside and the door was locked. The woman on the other line explained that «She was sorry but they just registered their last patient and that they closed at 8:30pm tonight because they got a rush towards the end of the night.»
WTF?
I very nicely explained that I was standing outside the door and that it very plainly stated that they were open till 9pm and that the last patient needed to be there by 8:45pm and that wouldn’t be for almost 15 minutes. She snidely remarked that «They were privately owned and that the decision to close was based on the doctors on call.»
I explained that I had just drove over three hours as fast as I could to get back from Yosemite because I was having some trouble breathing and I needed to find out if I was having asthma issues or if it was something else like an ulcer. She told me to hold for a minute, then came back and told me that I should go to the emergency room if I was having trouble breathing because they could give me oxygen.
WHAT THE HELL?
I calmly explained that I had not stopped somewhere else because I had good experiences here in the past, and I asked her to explain why they couldn’t take me and spend 20 – 30 minutes figuring out what was wrong (I have good insurance I assured her) and why they would think that having me go to one of the two emergency rooms in the area on a Saturday night was a good idea. I explained that if I did that I would be waiting for 5 – 6 hours because they are always overflowing with people who don’t have insurance and things like gunshot wounds that are more important. She just explained that she couldn’t do anything because it was the doctor’s call.
I explained to her that I wasn’t upset with her because she was just the messenger but that I couldn’t believe that a locally owned business would turn away a good customer in need 30 minutes before their stated closing time. I nicely explained that they had lost my trust and business and that I would never return, I would need to find a new place if I needed medical attention.
Such a disappointment. I would hope that a locally owned business would have a little more of a conscience when it comes to loyal customers and their health care. How would they feel if they sent me away and something bad happened to me?

Love this place! I think the longest I’ve ever waited was maybe 45 minutes. All the doctors we’ve seen have been really nice. Definitely would recommend this place if you can’t get in to your primary physician fast enough.

My disabled son squirt laundry detergent in his eyes. We sat there for over 10 minutes, had no urgency and does not prioritize the health for their patients. They couldn’t even tell me when they will see him… My sons eye sight is more of a priority than minor things. I had to leave and go to the hospital. Ridiculous. Never take your loved ones to this place

Went last Sunday and never expected the level of service I encountered. Clean, knowledgable and courteous personnel. It was worth my trip of 25 miles from Tracy. Great facikities. Highly recommend for urgent care.

Not happy with the fact that 1. they couldn’t figure out how to check eligibility. i had to go home and print it out for them 2. sit in a room and they forgot who I was. they opened they door and asked for my name, so they forgot about me.

My son and I went in for a visit because I had a bad cough and my son had high fever. So the doctor said I had bronchitis and prescribed me some antibiotics and cough, which did not work. My son who had a high fever for couple days now was only teething that’s why he had a fever, wrong my son was sent to the er by his doctor because he had tonsillitis and was dehydrated. So when I call to get different medication. No cant do that I have to come back in for a different visit and pay again when you couldn’t fucken diagnose me right the first time. Bs, stupid ass place

I had to get stitches removed. This was the closest to Isleton. Dreaded the long wait associated with urgent care. I arrived at 9:30am on Wed. Paper work, short wait, Stitches out, Whole visit about 45 minutes. Very pleasant Staff and Doctor.
All in All a very pleasant experience.

I use to always go to the urgent care off oddest lane by heald and winco but the wait was always horrendous. A friend suggested trinity urgent care (off 8 mile) and its my new favorite.
The last time I went the lady said it was a 2 hour wait, I was so sick I didn’t care. I think she was exaggerating to patients to be safe because my total time spent there was two hours. I was relieved.
The dr was nice, A little too quick but it’s flu season and I’m sure she seen 100 people with my same symptoms. However another time I took my 1.5 year old and the dr took his time with her and was super good with her. Overall great staff. Buuuuut my mom is a fan of going to ER because they are more thorough and take blood and urine tests and xrays. I just hate waiting in ER.

Won’t be back ever again! Watch out for extra charges if you have insurance. Was charged extra $ 50 because the visit was on saturday, on top of my copay. Didn’t have arm brace in stock that insurance would have covered, wrote a prescription for the brace and pharmacy didn’t accept it. Only good at medical supply store. Finally bill with insurance $ 110, next time I will go to Dr. Birlew, it only cost me $ 20 there. Although wait is longer.

Nice facility, pleasant & knowledgeable front desk staff, short wait time (20 min), and a great doctor! The doctor spoke calmly, listened, thoroughly examined, and took into consideration that we didn’t have insurance. I am in the medical field and am very happy with the entire process. We weren’t aware of the insurance issues (thanks to the new insurance stuff). After calling around, we finally found this wonderful place to take us: wish I would’ve called them first!

Bad experience with the urgent care, the staff, the dr. Overall, everyone in this facility is very unprofessional. The staff is lazy and rude. All they do is talk and sit their lazy Butts down, while we wait so long. When up you ask them questions they get mad, hello that’s why you are getting paid for, right! The doctor Din, was rude he did not take care of my baby’s injury, he said go home there’s nothing wro mvg. Yet, my baby had been bleeding, and was crying from the pain. I hope this place shuts down and fires all these use
full people and supposely .drs.

If you have insurance WATCH OUT! This place charges you MORE for having insurance.
I have regularly taken my family here for minor colds/​infections. Without insurance they charged me $ 100 every time.
We got a new insurance policy, so on my last visit (12/​20/​2013) I took my insurance card as well as $ 100 cash. I asked them what the cash rate was. They confirmed $ 100. I then provided my insurance and asked ho much would I pay if I used my insurance. They looked it up and said my portion would only be $ 53.52.
So I paid $ 53.52 and had my visit. Now I get a bill for $ 94.88!!!
That’s right! A $ 100 visit turned into $ 193.00 visit thru my insurance. My insurance paid $ 44.60.
So if I add the $ 53.52 I paid with the $ 44.60 my insurance paid its super close to $ 100 normal rate. So why am I billed an additional $ 94.88?

Took my nephew to this urgent care for an allergic reaction. He said that his throat felt like it was swelling up. I was told by the receptionist that being seen is based on walk-​ins and not acuity. She proceeded to say that if he were to stop breathing, THEN he would be seen! Apparently it’s not urgent when a patient’s airway is compromised! Needless to say, this place has lost mine, my family, and friend’s business, as well as others who I can inform of this incompetence.

Please please please do NOT waste your time or health going to this place. Have been there 3 times in 2 years only because I live close. Have not seen the same doctor twice. they DO NOT care about you. the bucks are paid up front. (seriously, I don’t even pay my mechanic up front) aren’t you supposed to pay after services rendered? anyway, the last time I went with the familiar upper respiratory/​bronchitis I get with a severe cold almost annually, got sent away and told to take Robitussin. second opinion… yup, pneumonia. thanks trinity I have learned my lesson and will never be back. have fun in your quiet no line waiting room. big surprise there.

Wow. I’m still in shock. No poop smeared on the walls, no kids playing in the garbage or people with open runny sores in the waiting room.
The staff was so nice and helpful even though I have no insurance. Usually the level of nice goes up with how much you can pay or how good your insurance is. I wish I’d gotten their names they were so great.
I didn’t pay as much as I thought I would either, so if you have no insurance, don’t be afraid to come in and get your bank account cleaned out.
The actual exam room was very very clean. Again, I’m used to Channel St Medical and if you’ve been there, you know how Third World it is. They had decent magazines and a TV in there. I was in and out in maybe a half hour.
Great service, definitely recommend if you don’t feel like sitting in a room with the walking dead and exposed to Ebola lol.

I’ve been suffering from cluster headaches for the last few weeks after going for 3+ years without. When they returned, they were a bit more aggressive (happen more often, but not necessarily more painful). Decided I should see someone for them.
The doctor I saw had absolutely no idea what cluster headaches are. Absolutely none. He had to go and look them up in two quick search medical books he had, and was reading them right in front of me. He offered no course of treatment, basically saying «the treatments they recommend are just a bunch of fads». He prescribed some slightly stronger naproxen (basically 2.5 pills worth of Aleve), and officially diagnosed me with «unspecified headaches».
I think I was better off talking to the pharmacist at my drug store of choice. At least he told me what painkillers he thought would be most helpful, given my situation, and helped me think of some alternate meds if these didn’t work.
