Cassidy Landscaping

I am writing this review about Cassidy Landscaping because they are an amazing team and deserve the recognition. I have never had a landscaper working on my property before and quite honestly it is because I never thought anyone could handle my 15 thousand square foot lot in Stoneham as well as I could but I was wrong.
This year I decided to let them take over everything which provided me more personal time to sit back and enjoy their work. After working full time all week like most It relieved me from spending my weekends out in the yard maintaining it. It was such a pleasure when I came home on a Wednesday after the crew had been out to my house because the property would look beautiful.
My lawn was never really healthy no matter how hard I tried but they managed to get my lawn looking incredible.
They just finished completing my fall cleanup with the leaves and I have to say again the property looks absolutely put together. I know how much work it takes to get the leaves done because I did the cleanup every year by myself for over 22 years and seeing how clean it was after they were done I applaud them for their hard work and dedication to taking care of my home.
I would recommend them for any landscaping job you have. They are a great group and Patrick and Ryan are doing an incredible job with their business. They are polite and always listen to what the customer wants.
I have to say that Alex is one of the hardest working guy’s I know and he is always there to listen to me when I have questions. I love them and you will too !

Cassidy brothers never fail to get our lawn looking top-​notch. We appreciate their quick turn-​around and fair price. We hope our review encourages customers to choose Cassidy Landscaping.

If the manner in which they drive their Cassidy Landscaping commercial vehicle is any indication of their professionalism, you’d be better off hiring someone else. You would think if the name of your company is written all over your giant truck you would do things like signal lane changes, keep a safe distance from the car in front of you, and drive at legal speeds. Assholes.

Stay away from these guys. I contracted with them (not in writing unfortunately) to remove three overgrown shrubs — roots and all. I was emphatic that the root balls be pulled since I was planting a garden in that space. Ryan Cassidy reassured me they would. When the crew showed up Wednesday, April 2^nd., I again stressed getting the roots out. Not only did they not pull the roots but smoothed over the soil thinking I wouldn’t notice right away.
Before they left, I went out (spade and pitch folk in hand) immediately hitting hard
ground. Clearly that area wasn’t even turned. Exposing root after root, I brought it to the workers attention immediately. He did nothing but pull a root and sliced it off.
I immediately called Ryan Cassidy. He came down that night picked up the $ 300
check assuring me both he and his brother would be back Saturday, April 5^th., to
make it right. He even stressed how important it was to make sure a new customer like me was satisfied. Saturday came and went. No show. No calls.
Now nearly a week later I’m not holding my breath. Avoid this guy like the plague!

Have used these guys to mulch in the spring and clean up in the fall. Have also used them to aerate and over seed in the fall. Just had it done again this Sept and the lawn looks fantastic. Very pleased with the results.
Know of two lawn installs they have performed and the lawns look incredible.
Hard working and willing to go above and beyond to insure you are pleased with their performance.
I would recommend them to anyone!

We had work done by Cassidy Corp Paving, I am told the brother of the owner of Cassidy Landscaping. Cassidy Corp did a great job, I figured why not hire the brother. Big mistake. We hired him to do a simple fall cleaning for the front, back and side yards. I got a reasonable estimate and decided to approve the job. That night, I came home to damage to my yard from a vehicle with large tires that they used to drive on my side yard, no trim work down to the cut grass, leaving plenty of the side yard uncut. The hedges were cut to different heights and one was cut slanted. Lastly, the back yard had been untouched. They later sent me the bill which was over 40% more than what I was quoted, when I called to have them explain I was told they sent someone who wasn t too experienced to make the estimate and that the person sent had misquoted. You d think they d call to let me know that my bill was going to be almost 50% more and ask if I still wanted to get the work done, or that they left damage to my property, or that they only did the front yard and not the back. If anything, especially considering the work wasn t complete, I should have paid less than quoted. I called and left messages, asking them to reconsider the bill. I heard nothing back. I called again, explaining that I am not out to pull one over on them but I want a fair bill for what was done/​wasn t done. I heard nothing back for months, until today (6 months from when the work was done). Today I received a bill again. The damage and work done/​not done is well documented, I am considering seeing a lawyer about my options. Avoid this company.
