I don’t normally write a 2 star review, but I felt compelled. Ive ordered from Deliworks for about 3 years now. Their food is really awesome. I told my whole staff to order from them. And then, somewhere about 1 year ago, something shifted and all of a sudden, my odds of my order getting right went from 100% down to 50% and delivery time increased to OVER an hour, and we are less than a mile away. Honestly, their food is fresh and good and I would probably order there every day and would encourage my staff of about 15 people to order there too. But now, I only order there maybe every 3 months, when I have no other option. I talked to the owner once and he offered us a free lunch. But honestly, all I really want is my order, correct, and delivered in less than an hour. Which seems to me to be a reasonable request for a Deli. Order at your own risk, is all I can say.

If you’re in a hurry– do take out, because delivery does take around an hour at any time of the day. However, when the food arrives it is always piping hot– so it isn’t like it’s been sitting at the place waiting for the driver to come get it or in the car being driven around before being delivered. This place has THE best corned beef reuben around. It comes with a choice of coleslaw or potato salad, both which are sublime. Their greek salad is awesome, too. It has a ton of feta and the dressing is perfect– nice and light. Their pizza is also really good, although I’ve only ordered it once.

Love getting take out from here! The chicken caesar and the buffalo chicken wrap are very good! The chicken fingers and fries are also really good too! They are open late too which is a plus. I would recommend this place.

We get sandwiches from here pretty regularly and the food quality is excellent. My favorite is the Turkey Rachel, it is consistently prepared and tastes delicious. The bread has a great crunch to it and the ingredients are definitely high quality. Several of my friends rave about their pizza, although I haven’t tried it. The menu has a wide variety of options, and I’m on a mission to try more of them!

Today I ordered my lunch from deli works which I do everyday the food is always amazing and the service is always pleasant but today it was terrible. The women on the phone was very well spoke and helpful. She had no problem explaining the coupons to me and the point system. Once I went to pick up my food I was greeted by a young man sitting on his phone texting. I waited and waited for him he never realized I was there. The women who I’m assuming answered the phone dropped everything in her hands to help me while he continued to text. I have never experienced anything like this before at deli works and it is very upsetting to me that I have to give one star. On the bright side food is great, seafood is wonderful. Just avoid the boy upfront and head straight to the women when u walk in

I recently ordered a pizza here for the first time. It was made quickly, the staff was friendly and the price reasonable. thinner crust style. small is about 14 inches. decent crust, cooked well. the pizza was a little too greasy for my preference and so the slices were sort of soggy. This wouldnt be my first choice for pizza but I’ll try it again for other items based on other reviews.

Tired after a long workday, just wanted to get something quick to go, head back to the room, and, chill. DeliWorks and pizzeria came up right away on Unilocal, decided to try it. I got a grilled salmon salad which was quite good! Nicely grilled piece of fish fresh greens, with a nice balsamic vinaigrette with pita bread utensils napkins packed up for me for about $ 11. Very small place, with some seating, looks to be mostly take out though. The folks working there I talked to were business like, helpful, but not chatty. I will definitely get food here again on one of those take out nights!

So they advertise that they are open until 11pm for pickup and delivery… I call at 10:25pm for a pickup order and I’m first asked what i’d like to order before im rudely told«our grills off» as soon as i start saying my order. Please dont advertise closing at 11:00pm and then telling people you are done taking orders at 10:25pm Im sure your boss is going to be very upset

Choices abound in this neighborhood pizza place. Large buzy staff at lunch time cranking out orders keeps up a hectic vibe while you wait for your food. I decided on the small eggplant parm sub. It was so good I’d rank it up there with Mike’s on Arthur Ave in the Bronx. Mike’s is world famous for it’s version of eggpkant parmigiano. The Small is at least 8″ long and perfect for an average appitite. Bread was toasted and the fried Eggplant was tender and sweet. The sauce was spot on as it all came together to make a great and satifying sandwich. Too bad im only in town for 1 day. Id be back tomorrow. Definitely great looking Pizza Calzones and Subs and the place smells great.

Had the chicken Caesar wrap… It was dope sauce. My friend had the chicken cordon blue wrap which was also dope sauce. The wraps are also massive with a lot of meat. Very friendly and fast service. Would definitely come back.

Best salads. Fresh and sizeable! My kids prefer them to pizza and we love their pizza! I have also used them for catering –calzones and trays of chicken piccata etc. always a hit!

We didn’t know what to expect from this place as we were just stopping on our way to Vermont and options were limited, but we were pleasantly surprised! I got the Greek salad with grilled chicken and it was excellent – the chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked. Not to mention that they had Jaws on the TV. All in all a delicious stop!

Deli works… I hate you In today’s world you would think people would care more about how they treat people that pay them but this place doesn’t give a shit about its customers. First off I’ve been here dozens of times the food is actually pretty good but the service is probably the worst I have experienced. My story begins with my ordering of a steak tip sub. I has set it up for delivery and usually they are pretty quick so I sat and waited while embroiled in some serious Call of Duty. Well about a half hour later I look down at my phone and it shows a missed call 2 minutes ago. I call the number back and it was deli works store line. They said that the dire had been there for 5 minutes and decided to leave. Now please note, we have a door bell as well as I was sitting 4 feet from the door so he didn’t ring or knock on the door. The gentleman on the phone said he would send the driver back… ok fine no harm no foul. It was when my phone rang 30 seconds later that I nearly lost my mind. The guy at the store called me back to let me know that they were really busy so I need to make sure I was waiting at the door… sorry that your dip shit driver cant ring a door bell… take your sub and shove it. I just couldn’t believe what I was hearing. A sub shop blaming me cause their driver didn’t wait ring/knock a door. For that reason I will never order food from them again, I don’t give a shit if its free.

Well done, classic subs, delivery, big portions, well priced. I judge a sub shop by the chicken cutlet, the steak bomb, & Italian sub. I’ve had the former 2 and they were great. I’ll keep going here for my subs until further notice.

I think the best pizza in Stoneham. Big plus that they are open late. Fast delivery! Need to try some of their other stuff but definitely go for the cheese pie.

Deli Works!!! I started ordering from here when my office was right down the street in stoneham and have continued even though we’ve moved to Wakefield. They have friendly drivers who deliver which is excellent on busy work days. It can take 40 – 50 min if you order noon-1:30, I try to order early or just pick up. My favorite menu items are the Thai Chicken wrap with spicy peanut sauce and the BLT Club– so much crispy bacon! My coworkers love the calzones, mozzarella sticks, hummus wrap, butternut squash soup, chicken gyro wrap and last but number 1: stake tip salad with Greek dressing. Their online ordering system is very easy to use and you get 10% off for ordering online, in addition to getting points for gift coupons if you create an account.

I’ve ordered pizza here before and really enjoyed it. My review today is in respect to the customer service. Last night I walk in at 10:47pm after working late and starving with zero food at home. The place was closing at 11pm and all staff was on point with getting things cleaned and finished up last orders. The female staff member behind the desk was beginning her closing out of the register & receipts — but was still so incredibly friendly. Although they were minutes from closing and had everything wrapped up for the day — she was willing to have almost anything I wanted made up, and she didn’t even have to hear my empty stomach growl like an angry puma baby nor did I have to whip out the puss-n-boots helpless kitten eyes. The kitchen staff took the order with a smile and whipped up a prosciutto-mozzarella-basil wrap and turkey sub. They didn’t skimp on any of the prosciutto or mozzarella!(which I have found, many delis tend to do). The bread from the turkey sub was soft and tasted fresh(how at 11pm? awesome). So bottom line — day or night — Deliworks seems to be a place to add to your go-to’s for your sub/wrap/pizza cravings — especially at night when all other places have closed and gone home to Nick-at-Night(people still watch that right…)

Went to Deliworks based upon the review from TC, and the food and people were exactly as expected. We ordered a half-half cheese/margherita(kids and parents), and the pizza was completely devoured in a matter of minutes. Fresh basil, mozzarella, and roasted tomatoes on the margherita, and their tomato sauce is sweet with the right balance of spices and salt. Going to be a regular! Thanks TC!

Unilocal reviews brought me here, thank you fellow Unilocalers. I can only comment about the pizza here since that was all I had. Let me tell you something, the pizza here rivals some of the better well known pizzerias in NYC. I ordered the«Margherita Pie» OMG! This pizza was DELICIOUS!!! Thin crust perfectly baked and topped with fresh slices of mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, Romano cheese and drizzled with olive oil. I can taste all the ingredients when I bit into that pie, it was that good! When I first walked in I said to myself, Self, how can this place which is a deli and makes pizza be any good? Well, my fellow Unilocalers proved me wrong, thank you. Like I said it doesn’t look or feel like a pizzeria, but let the pizza do all the talking. I’m going out on a limb here, but the Margherita pie here is by far the best pizza I have had, better than in NY. The name of the business says it all, the«Deli works, but come for the pizza!» I will definitely be back here again
