Ordered two days ago. Again, low or no sodium sauce so I was happy. Spareribs were meaty and not cloyingly sweet. Actually tasted like pork. Good price for what you get. But soaked the container and delivery bag it was that greasy. I got sick several hours later. I suspect this is why. Cantonese dumplings were pan fried very nicely but didn’t taste good. Dry beef chow foon was good. Huge portion. Three meals. Sickness after eating brought it down from three stars to one.

Food is ok not great. had a chinese craving so i called for a combo plate. asked for fried rice in seperate container and she said i had to order a small fried rice. I explained i have to heat it up separately I told her I was eating the food later but she didn’t care so for $ 0.03 box she lost a customer. cya hong kong

Hong Kong City has improved and is pretty good. It’s a takeout place that has a few tables if you want to eat out of boxes and dine with people who are waiting for their food. Classic American Chinese food and pretty decent Wonton Soup.
They seem to be closed on Monday’s and should update their menus. As I type this on a Monday night.

The food was so bad, had no taste. Smelled like shit. I got something with the sauce and the sauce was dripping everywhere on the table and rice were so hard. Sucked so bad deff don’t recommend it.
My friend went in her car right across the street as I stayed waiting for her because she forgot her wallet and they chased her and started speaking in a different language it was so embarrassing we didn’t even finish the food. We paid and left.

Placed a small order on a Thursday night. The place is 10 min down the street and it took 1.25 hrs to deliver food. We called after an hr to check on the food and they said driver was stuck in traffic! Traffic in Stoneham at 7:30??? Come on now! Then the food arrives and wants money. Well we used a credit card over the phone an hr ago. So now the driver has to call the place and verify the card… Which someone forgot to process ?
If you’re late, you’re late, but don’t give us a horrible excuse.

I ordered pork lomein, chicken wings, and dumplings. The food was delicious and fresh. And they give you pretty large portions. Needless to say, I will be ordering here again. Great food and quick delivery!

Pay no mind to the 1 and 2 star reviews.
Just moved down the street. Been hesitant on ordering here due to some of the bad reviews. Based on what I ordered the price and food were the best in Stoneham. I did take out.
Small chicken wing
Small house fried rice
Small crab rangoons
Small beef tiryaki
All for under 30 bucks. I think it was 25ish but cant remember. Had dinner and then lunch the next day.
Good americanized chinese. Not sure why people are giving such crap reviews so figured Id share my experience which was great.

When ordering I asked them if they had brown rice. «Yes», so I ordered a large brown rice. When I got home I found a container of white rice that had been stir fried with soy sauce. I took it back and was told «Look, it’s brown.» No money back.

Barely edible Americanized Chinese food. It all tastes like brown sauce. Broccoli is in brown sauce soup. And it tastes like nothing. Chicken was very over cooked. Won’t go back.

Really and truly… not good. Used to be my favorite before they burned down. Ordered in one night about a month ago to give them another shot. everything I ordered except the white rice wreaked and tasted like fish. I did not order any fish. Also got beef fried rice and that tasted like a burnt sauté pan. Mmm char. Steak teriyaki was strange and gooey. after a couple of forced bites it all went into the garbage. SATO or Tulip from now on.

OMG! Unreal food! I’ve been going here for years and even though I’ve moved to Woburn and now live in Malden, I come here as often as possible! The older lady who I see working there all the time is soooo sweet! I just want to hug her! If u like Chinese take out this place is the best!
You HAVE to try the chicken wings, Singapore rice noodles and won ton soup! Best I’ve ever had and I get it every time! Thanks for the years Of friendly service!
