yea, you robbed me of my first review with alice cooper lyrics, so this time youre gonna get it. ok, im over it, anyway, i like how you figured out that staffing the place with two people is a stupid as staffing a college restaurant with only two people. im outraged! also, well i only get plain rice now as everything else gives me wicked heartburn.

Shouldn’t have really expected too much from a Panda Express at UConn’s food court, but come on! First time experience there: there was no RICE so we were given the option of no side or dry«chow mein» that tasted like old cigarettes. There were only a few options for entrees. The shrimp were good when hot but quickly got cold and had a weird old mayonnaise taste. The orange chicken was good. They also were out of egg rolls. Just kind of a bummer to have gone here for dinner, waste of money and calories.

As the only Panda Express in Connecticut east of New Haven, this place is like an oasis for those craving American Chinese cuisine. I haven’t made the effort to buy anything yet — a bit too pricey for me and an(arguably tasty) insult to the traditional Chinese cuisine I grew up with — but I do know this location honors the free meal promotions publicized via Panda Express social media. Also, a little-known secret: If you arrive right when the staff is cleaning up, they just may give you all the leftover food in a Styrofoam container. I’m always a fan of free dinner.
