Thanks so much to my good friend for recommending this place. He has completely different hair than I do, but nonetheless, he still was right that it’s a great place to get your hair cut. I walked in earlier today, on a Saturday, and with no appointment I only had to wait for about 10 minutes to start the process. I was paired with the hair stylist Liz, who did a quick, clean, and professional hair cut. My hair is very dense and thick, and at other salons, the hair stylists have complained at the amount of hair I have on my head, but Liz was extremely professional, understanding my hair as she combed through it and leaving me to relax in peace while she calmly cut my hair exactly the way I asked her to. I am the type of person who uses a hair cut as a way to relax, and she was completely on the same page as me as she created a calm environment for me to relax in as she did a fabulous job on my hair. After my cut, she made sure I liked it, and she did not make me feel bad for not wanting to get a blow-dry. She did not try to sell me any products; she simply was very polite, tranquil, yet friendly. The price was lower than low, yet the hair cut Liz created was simple yet beautiful. I have only been here this one time so I only know Liz, so I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for a nice hair cut that makes you feel good :)

They always except walk-ins, unless they are really busy. Reasonable prices for good cuts and trims. They do have a loyalty program where you can earn free cuts. They also offer tanning and sales of products

I have been going to this shop for well over a year now and couldn’t be happier. The customer service is excellent, the stylist are talented and everyone there is friendly. I would recommend this salon. The salon is not fancy but it is clean.

I had been a customer at this particular Fantastic Sam’s since mid-summer 2008 until a few months ago. Having given them chance after chance after chance to improve the quality of service, I will NEVER return to this salon. I was a patient customer, always paid whatever they charged no matter how it came out and always including a minimum 20% tip. In return I was kept waiting for every appointment I made(every 3 weeks) usually anywhere from 10 minutes to 15 minutes, and once for a half hour while the stylist had HER hair done by a product rep. That day I finally left with nothing done, and the manager confused why I wouldn’t wait«just a while longer». But I came back for more abuse because the place was convenient to my job and I actually did like the cut I received, though not the color. I always had a thick band of color around my hairline when I left because she wouldn’t use a color block. The color was always different every time, although it was supposedly mixed exactly the same. Had highlights put in finally to try and cover up her goofs, and I didn’t love them — heavy on the one-color blonde. I made the mistake of saying that I didn’t love them, and when I came back the next time, and still wouldn’t say I loved them, she fixed me by coloring out that $ 125 of foils with brown color, and left me with about ¼ inch of blonde tips. I complained to the manager — not interested in listening. I used their website«contact us» feature to complain but never received so much as an auto-acknowledgment. Never again will I give them one thin dime. Appearance: The salon is dirty. The front area is clean around the retail area, the salon area is covered with the grease and caked on dirt that only dirty hair and frequent applications of hairspray can create. They have a tanning area in the back– never been in there. Don’t want to.
