Luna Hardwood Floors and Carpets

So to start of oh man they give u cable people time on when they gonna show up to give there estimate I waited and they never showed then 45 min latter when I’m leaving to try salvage some of the day I missed out on the guy shows up. I felt rushed I looked a one little square asked price if I did it in that and he told me packed up stuff and that was that didn’t really get to look at anything or really get some estimates at all but seeing as I finally told work I was in my way and he was finally there I was like forget it and guess that’s the color. After he left I left Luna a grumpy message and they got right back to me very apologetic and gave me a very nice price. So today was install day the men who came 3 of them were all very nice and even listen to my 4 year olds instructions on how they should do there job LOL they also listened to what I was wanting And answered all my questions so far I am very happy with how great of a job they did and how great the rugs look in my kids room hallway and stairs. I would job well done for finished result.

Called made an app to have one of Lunas home experts give us a quote on hardwood will be there between 5pm and 7pm no show no call I called them they claimed the was a issue with scheduling would be nice to get a call but that didn’t happen so luna you lose I will never call you again

Sat home waiting on my husbands birthday for an appt with with them as we were planning to do 2 rooms then changed our minds to do all rooms and you think they would call and let us know the guy was not coming. I called and my husband called and we got 2 different reasons as to why the rep was not coming. Like really??? Get your act together and u detest and that others time is as valuable as yours! Absolutely never calling you again and everyone that knew we were calling you will know this! Thanks have a great night!

Hardwood floors in my mothers house… looks AMAZING! The workers name is greg. (i dont know the helpers name) but I am so pleased to say Greg went above and beyond to ensure that everything was done and looked great. Not only did he do a great job, but just to show how great of a worker he is, he even helped my mother connect her tv and make sure it was working before he left. He was so pleasent and treated my mother great (as well as our dogs!) We highly recomend him to anyone looking for work done.

If only I could give 0 stars or better yet, negative stars. My experience with Luna was by far the most asinine, disappointing, frustrating experience you could imagine. It seems like it all boils down to our Sales Rep, Chris D., who truly «sold us a bag of goods». He made several assurances that certain aspects of our original flooring would not be an issue come installation time. The first round was carpeting. After waiting during the given window of 11 – 3, they showed up at 3. «They» being 3 non-​English speaking men who entered my home confused and seemingly unaware of what they were doing there. Long story short, the Sales Rep neglected to note threshold removal in the proposal (despite a lengthy conversation) so they suggested we carpet OVER the threshold. I think not. The day only got worse when they weren’t sure they had the correct product and couldn’t really explain to me next steps. Before I came to a resolution, the 3 men got into their van and drove away. I called Customer Service furious… was told I’d hear back in 10 minutes… an hour later no call. I called Customer Service again and was told I’d hear back by the end of the day from Management… nothing. The next day when I still hadn’t heard from them I sent an e-​mail. The auto response said I’d hear back in 24 hours. 24 hours later still nothing. Finally 4 days later, we were able to cancel the carpet all together and received assurance that our laminate hardwood installation the next day would be smooth. Nope. Yet again the Sales Rep screwed us over by not mentioning certain details in the proposal. The crew left. Luna grossly disrespected my time. I took a day off from work and wasted countless hours trying to get a resolution. Please, save yourself the aggravation and go to someone who actually cares. Luna is simply HORRIBLE.
Oh, and I should mention… despite reaching out to the Sales Rep. He was a COWARD and never reached out to apologize or right his wrong. Unacceptable and appalling.

We have dealt with Luna twice first was they installed a flooring in my kitchen and I don’t have any issue with it. The salesman and the installer were great. We decide to use Luna again for a carpet need. I called Luna again and we bought the carpet, and a week later was installed to our satisfaction. I will use them again as long as I am satisfied with their products and services.

One star because I like the carpet and the sales rep was really nice.
We live in a condo with very strict association rules about when we can have contractors in the building as well as very reasonable rules about how those contractors conduct themselves as far as cleaning up.
Six weeks ago we scheduled our installation for carpet and laminate. We chose to have a day between them so that we could move stuff around. Carpet was up first. When we scheduled the install, and every time we spoke with Luna customer service after that, we reminded them that all work needed to be complete by 4:30. We were assured that this wasn’t a problem. The day of the install rolls around and Luna calls to tell me that the contractors will be at my house between 12 and 4. I reminded them that we cannot have people working here after 4:30. The customer service rep said she would call me back.
At 3:30 I had to call to reschedule. We all know what this means… I had to take another day off, I had to pay for another day of doggie daycare, I had to spend another day with boxes of stuff everywhere. It took me six phone calls to figure out how to get this install done in the morning rather than the afternoon. Six.
We eventually got things figured out and the contractors showed up. They brought up the wrong carpet. I had to wait around while they tried to figure out which one was mine. Work finally started and was completed in a couple of hours. I’ll point out here that we paid extra, even though initially Luna said it was included in their price, for moving of furniture. I’m left with dinged up walls and a broken table. They placed heavy furniture in front of the dings in the wall instead of putting it back where is was and they turned the broken part of the table against the wall so we were unable to see the damage until after they were gone and someone was home to help me move the furniture back to where it belonged.
The absolute worst part for me, though, were the huge fees from my condo association. While hauling away the old carpet the contractors left a trail of pieces of carpet and pad all the way down the hall, in the elevator, AND all over the lobby and foyer of my building. There were carpet tacks mixed in to all the debris. The association fined us $ 1500 ($ 500 per common area) and now we will have to pay an extra fee to do any sort of home improvement project involving contractors. Leaving a mess like that is just unprofessional and disrespectful.
At every stage after getting my money Luna has been disrespectful of my time, my home, and my community. I deeply regret my choice to do business with them.

I highly discourage anyone who is looking into using Luna. After going through a lengthy and aggravating process from start to finish with purchasing and installing, the carpet that was installed is disgusting. It is cheap looks like it is going to fall apart and I probably could have installed it better than the people who came from Luna. There are lumps coming from underneath the carpet and after calling to complain, someone on the phone told me they were sending out someone yesterday from 8 – 10 to take pictures of my disgusting carpet. Did they show up? No. I didn’t receive a phone all until almost 11 saying they weren’t coming and rescheduled for this morning. AGAIN THEY WERE A NO SHOW. I am beyond words with this company. I payed over $ 800 for something that looks worth $ 50. Run the other way if you are even thinking about purchasing through Luna, save yourself the headache.

I still have a hard time this actually happened but here goes. The salesman shows up and gives us a quote for $ 4700. For flooring for a kitchen, bathroom and hallway.
We say that is way over our budget. He counters with «what did you want to pay? We say about $ 1500. He plays with his calculator for a minute after telling us he will call the hallway a room and because a «special» is starting the next day. Guess what? He can drop the price from $ 4700. To $ 2000.!! I say for the same material and he says yes. Obviously we know we are dealing with a sleaze ball and ask for a card so we can think about it — in reality we just want him to leave. He tells us (a) he can’t give us a written quote. (b) he can’t email a quote © and this one really takes the cake-​if we didn’t place the order right then he couldn’t take it over the phone later.
If you plan on getting a price from these people set-​up a hidden camera. You can play it at any party you have– you’ll have laughs for years.
